end of semester

I haven’t been able to post anything this week because i’ve been so incredibly busy after i got back from my awesome trip to Berlin. However, i know have a week off so i can catch up on stuff. I found out that i’m more motivated to study once i’m off, which is kinda weird. Going to get 1 or 2 chapters of project management done, which is actually a really interesting subject. Happy studying everyone, i hope all of your exams went well!

The Week of Finals...

You haven’t studied anything, or obtained anything for that matter over the course of the whole semester.  The night before comes, you surrounded by text books that look crisp and new because you only used them to show that you were “participating” in class, but rather used it for a pillow to rest your head as you doze off in class in stead. The review sheet  is longer than the bible itself, and the night that lies a head of you will be long and tiresome.  Yet, even without fail, despite the odds against us, we will prevail.  The quest to get an average score begins now.

Good luck to all.  And may the curves be ever in your favor.

Advice | End of semester

Little advice for all you people who are soon entering/already are living the end of the semester.

- Get enough sleep. You don’t want to have terrible headaches and fall asleep while in class. If necessary, take short naps when you’re not feeling too motivated.
- Organize your time. It will be easier for you to set your priorities when you write them down. If it helps, write what to do each day, what subject to study, what essay to finish and for when, etc.
- Stay away from any distractions. I know it’s hard. I know you wanna finish watching that anime, movie, tv series or keep playing on your console. Don’t. Tell yourself you must finish your school things first. You won’t regret it, I promise.
- Reward yourself at the end. After finishing an essay, reward yourself with a great 1 hour of videogames. After studying very hard for your exam that’s going to be tomorrow reward yourself with your favorite meal. After the semester, go hang out with your friends or finish watching that tv series you’ve started. Tell yourself you will get good results if you don’t give up.

You can do it ! I believe in you :)

Important advice to all high schoolers' families

If you are a mother, father, brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend or someone of a high schooler, this is information you should know:
These days, the high schoolers are stressed because of the period of time known as “end of semester”.
This is completely normal and lasts about two to three weeks, depending on how demanding are their teachers.
After this time, the high schoolers’ conduct will be normal. But we are fully aware of the inconvenience this causes, therefore, you can follow these tips:
1. - Be patient: These days they will start to complain about everything and everyone, including classmates, teachers, friends, life itself, lack of sleep and, even you. It is normal. Lack of sleep and food do act like this.
2-. Try to understand as much as possible. Or less, give up on their side, in a good way.
3 -. Give them space. They’ll need it. Do not be upset if they don’t respond your calls, messages, tweets, iMessage, kik, etc.. . They’re thinking of something else that sometimes, they forget what day they live in.
4 -. Do not question their methods. Those are sufficiently questioned by their teachers.
