Ask yourself: what’s good about this moment right now? Is the sun out? Can you hear birds? Are you drinking coffee? Can you smell freshly cut grass? Is your bed soft and warm? These little things are oh so precious and yet seem so arbitrary.
You must find your why.
That why that gets you up early in the morning.
That why that has you staying up late.
That why that keeps you going.
If your why does not fill you up with a mixture of emotions, bringing with it both happiness and tears, laughter and anxiousness, eagerness and worries,
then it is not your why.
Keep searching until you find it.
When events present themselves in your life, try to see them for what they are. Yes, problems may arise, however do not make them any bigger than they really are, for this makes them ample times harder to overcome. So take a breath, truthfully evaluate what it is you’re faced with, and move forward with courage.
Problems do not overcome you, for you are stronger than each and every one of them.
Don’t give up. Push through the droughts. Channel the inevitable disappointments back into your craft. Break molds. Think. Create. But most importantly: stay alive. And in the meantime, make it about others. That seems to work. Stay strong. Live on. And power to the local dreamer.
