One of the most precious memories from the London Olympics was riding up to my sister Emma after I had won gold in the omnium, and seeing her crying her eyes out. Where some people might have thrown their toys out of the pram about all the attention on me, she was just so incredibly happy.

It was such a poignant moment. It showed me that in our cycling careers, whether it is a case of me winning or Emma, it does not matter to her.
