I see a lot of people mixing Guardians of Childhood books with the Rise of the Guardians movie, and I’m totally into that, I love it when people do that,

but the books and movie are actually pretty different. I wanted to make a fine line between what is in the books, and what is in the movie. That way, people won’t get confused or we can look at things from a different perspective.

I probably have left out a lot, and maybe forgotten a few things, but these are just the basics.

There are still a few books yet to come out for The Guardians of Childhood, so we don’t have full confirmation for a lot of things.

As for the movie, I really don’t see a sequel happening anytime soon, so I just went with the information we were given.

Otherwise, feel free to use this as a reference for any art or fan fictions you guys want to make! Any questions? Go ahead and ask~ <3

Just wanted to add more to the BabyTooth is Jack’s Sister theory

Problem is we were barely given a minute of Jack’s sister’s personality to really make any major connections, but if you really think about it, Babytooth probably acts just like Jack’s younger sis throughout the movie.

Based off facial expressions and few interactions with her brother, “Emma” (as the fandom nicknamed her)

Has the personality such as a worried, somewhat bossy younger sis that Jack would always mess with. He “always” played tricks on her, which would probably be the cause of her bossy frustration with her older brother. Basic sibling quarreling.

She has similar qualities to her brother too, they both bounce when they’re happy or excited slightly. Not to mention they look related for sure. She seems to follow him everywhere, kinda like Babytooth.

There’s also the parallel where Jack gives up an essential part of himself to save his sister/babytooth.

He gives his life to save his sister, and he gives his only source of power in a stranded snowy tundra to save Babytooth.

I’m sure there are plenty of off-screen parallels. Like how Babytooth was scared at first, but when she realized Pitch betrayed the deal, she stopped being afraid and didn’t hesitate to jab Pitch with her beak. “Emma” probably would have done the same considering her personality we’ve seen thus far.

She leans on her brother most of the time, but when her brother needed her, she would make sure no one would mess with her brother. That’s how baby tooth reacted.

There’s no doubt the creators made Babytooth visibly similar to Jack’s sister for a reason, and they won’t tell us why either, so I think its safe to say this is somehow head-canon.

Ok, so I just watched Rise of The Guardians for the umteenth time and I just thought of something; what if Tooth’s fairies are children who died at an early age or children who lost someone or were hurt as children and they were chosen to bring the happiness they never had or that they lost to the children of the world? What if Baby Tooth is Jack’s sister and she was chosen because she lost the joy in her life as a child, which was Jack, and that Manny knew that she would be reunited with her big brother?

I mean Jack’s little sissy and Baby Tooth have the same freckles, what if when she died Manny brought her back as a fairy to watch over the children and spare them the heart break she felt, just like the other fairies! What if they all had heartbreak or died young, and so they are now the protectors of memories, protecting the children from the pain they felt? The children who weren’t protected were brought back to stop it from happening to other children, to protect what needs to be protected; a child’s innocence.
