Surprise! Monkey King an unexpected star of the picture

Bow to nature, which has formed a legendary figure!

A college student who shot a picture at a mountain beauty spot was shocked to discover his photo had a surprise star - a hidden Monkey King!

The Monkey King is a literary figure in Chinese novel “Journey to the West” which was published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty. He is one of the most legendary characters in Chinese culture, and has featured in multiple adaptions by artists, actors, and even game designers.

The photo was shot by a college student from Chengdu named Yang Yang, who was visiting Emei Mountain in southwest China’s Sichuan Province with his mother during the Dragon Boat Festival holidays.

“I shot this picture of Qingyinping Lake at the foot of Emei Mountain and when I turned my phone, we unexpectedly found the hill and its reflection on the water had composed a vivid figure of the Monkey King!” Yang explained. “My mom and I were amazed right away!”

Yang’s mother was born in the Chinese Year of the Monkey, and 2016 is also a Year of the Monkey.

Emei Mountain is famous for its monkey residents and its status in Buddhist culture - it is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains of China. In “Journey to the West”, the Monkey King is a monkey born from stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices.

All the coincidences made the arrival of the surprise guest in the photo a wonderful surprise!

Epic fail? Bence yine de güzeldi, de keşke bir gün önce gelmiş olsaydık, hava güneşli ve açıkmış, zirveden inen iki turisti konuşurken duydum gün batımında dışarıda sadece 5 dakika kalmışlar ama ikisi de bariz yanmış, kıpkırmızı olmuşlardı, ertesi gün muhtemelen güneş yanığı acısından çıkmadılar dışarı. Gerçi biz de sırılsıklam olduk ve zirvede sistn hiçbir şey göremedik, dev altın heykeli bile zor gördük. Napalım, sağlık olsun, yine gider bu sefer dağda kamp yaparız :p
