“John Watson would be so insulted to be portrayed by an Asian woman!”

Well, maybe, but he was a reasonably open-minded character and Lucy Liu’s Watson is competent and intelligent. I’d be much more concerned about his reaction to Nigel Bruce’s gibbering and guileless depiction in the 1940’s classics.

“Beauty is not long hair, skinny legs, tanned skin or perfect teeth. Believe me. Beauty is the face of who cried and now smiles, beauty is the scar on your knee since you fell when you were a kid, beauty is the circles when love doesn’t let you sleep, beauty is the expression on the face when the alarm rings in the morning, it’s the melted makeup when you have a shower, it’s the laughter when you make a joke you’re the only one who can understand, beauty is meeting his gaze and stopping understanding, beauty is your gaze when you see him, it’s when you cry for all you paranoias, beauty is the lines marked by time. Beauty is what we feel in the inside which also shows outside us. Beauty is the marks the life leaves on us, all the kicks and the caresses the memories leave us. Beauty is letting yourself live.”
Emma Watson

It’s fricken hilarious when you think about it. No one made that connection when they were dressing her. That is if she is not dressing herself now. Usually you can tell when she does because you get outfits like this one. She was cosplaying at her own premiere. Only thing that would make this better if Daisy Ridley cosplays Hermione at the new ‘Star Wars’ movie in December premiere.

Oh she has a stylist alright. That’s what makes this more tragic. X

This picture doesn’t need an explanation. While playing Hermione it suited her to say that girls should be intelligent and stand up for themselves and not be portrayed as fragile who need rescuing- in short a princess.

And now that she’s promoting BATB she can’t stop harping about how Belle has always been a role model and how playing a princess has always been a childhood dream. Anyone trying to still defend her is a hypocrite!

That’s probably why she’s so adamant at trying to give Belle a job. xD

In the EW interview Emma says she was ‘relieved’ at Norma’s performance in Cursed Child - Who does she think she is? Did she really think the bar she set as hermione would be too high for a well established theatre actress?! Norma got an Olivier award in 2006 girl, u had nothing to worry about pfft
