Avatar AU - Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons, part 2
Second part of this picspam. In which Anna is the Avatar, she’s been able to bend all the elements since she was a kid. When her sister Elsa, a waterbender, relized who Anna really was decided to protect her, in order to do that she brought The Avatar away, in an ice castle where no one could ever find or threaten her.
Anna grew up alone, her only companions were her sister, a spirit snowman and a funny waterbender named Kristoff, who helped Elsa protecting the Avatar. Unfortunately one day, after a big fight with her sister, Anna run away, they looked for her everywhere, but they couldn’t find her. Elsa send Kristoff to search for help, and hat’s how he found Hiccup, Merida, Jack and Rapunzel. The four were shocked at first but they decided to follow this strange, huge man. After all, all they ever wanted was finding the Avatar and this was an opportunity to meet her.
Meanwhile Anna has met an handsome and lovely prince and she has fell for him. Unfortunately Prince Hans is actually the former Prince of the Fire Nation, and he decieved Anna in order to kidnap her.
Now is up to the Big Four to save the Avatar from a terrible fate…
“Get it together,” Elsa repeated to herself, rummaging through her drawers in search of her gloves. Her firebending seemed to be out of control lately. She rarely used it, wanting to keep her identity a secret lest she be branded an enemy to the rest of the world outside of the Fire Nation, but sometimes she slipped up and flames would spurt out of her hands, singing anything within a few feet. You’re not like the rest of them, she would always reassure herself. But the truth was that she was terrified of her power, that she might not be able to help any evil growing within her. She’d thought she’d destroyed any chance of it when she left the Fire Nation as a child, but there was always a lingering fear. It was made even worse when she thought of how Jack would see her if he ever learned the truth. The ice spirit was her best friend, and he would have thought her a monster if she had revealed herself. Perhaps once the war is over.
But would it ever be over? It had already been raging for a century. Any hope of an end in the near future seemed lost at times. She would have to keep her bending a secret forever, it appeared.
A knock on the door broke her thoughts. Elsa bought herself some time by yelling that she wasn’t dressed yet, and managed to find a pair of gloves in the bottom of the middle drawer. Relieved, she slipped them onto her hands and went to greet whoever was there.
“Jack!” She grinned at the sight of her friend. “It’s so great to see you!”
I first heard Let It Go a few weeks before even seeing the movie, and, seeing it out of context, I related Elsa’s running away to Toph’s running away when her parents wouldn’t accept her. So I changed to lyrics to Toph’s perspective! I don’t sing well so I only recorded this one part on my iPhone, but enjoy anyways! Here are the lyrics to the full version:
Security grows heavy on the grounds tonight many footprints to be “seen”. the Beifong couple hold a secret and that secret, well, it’s me. The Beifongs, they don’t have a daughter– well, she blind.. Couldn’t keep her in, oh, I know they tried.
Don’t let them in don’t let them see; be as fragile as they all seem to think. Conceal, don’t feel; don’t let them know, well now they know
Let it go, let it go, the Blind Bandit is no more. Let it go, let it go, pack my bags for the Avatar.
I don’t care if they’ll worry or not time to leave this floored home some dirt never bothered me anyway.
It’s funny how my parents choose to see me as so small, and here the fears that they would hate me can’t get to me at all!
Its time to see what I can do go from The Blind Bandit to Sifu No more pretense, no rules for me! I’m free!
Let it go, let it go i am one with the earth and ground! Let it go, let it go, I can see with touch and sound! Here I stand, and with them I’ll stay! teach him Earthbending..
Oh my chi flurries from my toes into the dirt! My sight is learning of the world the sand metal and earth! My friends accept me more than my folks every did!.. I’m never going back, not only to be hid.
Let it go, let it go like a lion turtle i will roar! Let it go, let it go! That helpless girl is no more! Here I stand in the open world! I have a path in sight,
