So will I.

Game of Thrones Season 6: A Short Plot Summary.

There are crimes that are never forgiven…

                                                  Like treason.

Book Dorne

  • The sand-snakes want vengeance, but they have different ideas how to approach it. None of which involve the assassination of a child under their care who is meant to marry Trystane. Tyene even wants to crown Myrcella queen.
  • Doran has locked up the sand-snakes before they try any shady shit.
  • Arianne heads out to crown Myrcella herself; and clearly adores the girl.
  • Aero puts a complete stop to this, showing just how much of a badass he is that he manages to kill a member of the Kingsguard.
  • Doran reveals his secret plans to Arianne and his biding until the time is right where they can form an alliance with the Targaryens and actually be able to exact justice for Elia and her children. He has fooled pretty much everybody.
  • Ellaria just wants a stop to all the killing, pointing out that death and desire for revenge only leads to more death and more desire for revenge.
  • Everybody is outraged when they realise that Cersei planned to have Trystane murdered on his way to Kings Landing.
  • Doran begins to give everybody roles which ensues they are in position to perhaps overthrow the system if need be for Daenerys when she arrives.
  • Are generally more readable and have such a great culture, and very smart and shit.

TV Dorne

  • Absence of Arianne is a major blow.
  • Ellaria encourages the sand-snake’s lust for revenge, even having Obara killing an innocent captain after getting the information on Jaime’s intentions.
  • Heads out to kidnap Myrcella in broad daylight so they can kill her and fails pretty spectacular whilst they are at it.
  • Completely go against everything Oberyh stood for.
  • Absolutely no children in the water gardens, a rich aspect of Dornish Culture which shows how the high lords treat those less unfortunate.
  • Shows clear lack of respect to Doran because he doesn’t wish ill upon children.
  • Swears an oath to Doran that they will never betray him again, only to immediately go against this very oath. “The words of a kingslayer,” Ellaria says with scorn as if she is the most honest person there is.
  • Poisons Myrcella, a young girl, in front of her uncle/father.
  • Obara and Nymeria commit the act of kinslaying by murdering Trystane as he mourns Myrcella.
  • Ellaria and Tyene immediately take over by murdering Doran (another act of kinslaying) and Areo (who isn’t the strongest warrior he is meant to be) and declare war upon the Lannisters.
  • Are extremely unwatchable and poorly acted, with nothing that distinguishes them and are so incompetent I’m surprised they are still breathing.

The women are the strong ones, truly.

Catelyn waited until they had quieted. “My lords,” she said then, “Lord Eddard was your liege, but I shared his bed and bore his children. Do you think I love him any less than you?” Her voice almost broke with her grief, but Catelyn took a long breath and steadied herself. “Robb, if that sword could bring him back, I should never let you sheathe it until Ned stood at my side once more… but he is gone, and hundred Whispering Woods will not change that. Ned is gone, and Daryn Hornwood, and Lord Karstark’s valiant sons, and many other good men besides, and none of them will return to us. Must we have more deaths still?”

“Oberyn wanted vengeance for Elia. Now the three of you want vengeance for him. I have four daughters, I remind you. Your sisters. My Elia is fourteen, almost a woman. Obella is twelve, on the brink of maiden-hood. They worship you, as Dorea and Loreza worship them. If you should die, must El and Obella seek vengeance for you, then Dorea and Loree for them? Is that how it goes, round and round forever? I ask again, where does it end?” Ellaria Sand laid her hand on the Mountain’s head. “I saw your father die. Here is his killer. Can I take a skull to bed with me, to give me comfort in the night? Will it make me laugh, write me songs, care for me when I am old and sick?”

Finding out their s/o has been kidnapped by the enemy…

((I was asked to do a preference for “reader is kidnapped and the character is told it’s a lost cause to try and get them back.” I have decided to make that a separate preference!))

((This is part 2! Part one is here…http://letsasoiaftogether.tumblr.com/post/155449705207/preferencekidnapped and there will be a third part…or a third and fourth part haha…adding in all the other characters that I was asked to add into my preferences!))

((EDIT: I forgot to tag @antiscocialfanwarrior when I posted this, sorry!))

Jaime – If his s/o was kidnapped, he would blame himself and all the horrible things he has done in his life. He would see it as the gods’ way of punishing him for all the broken vows, the incest, the attempted murder of innocents, and for the sins of House Lannister and how Jaime hadn’t tried to stop any of it. Jaime would definitely look for you, but the experience would open his eyes.

Tommen – If his s/o was kidnapped, Tommen wouldn’t know what to do. He would command his men to look for you and would want to look for you himself, but you would be the most important thing in his life and without you he feels lost and alone and so uncertain of how to even go on. He wouldn’t stop until he found you and he would risk his own death as long as you were safe.

Joffrey – If his s/o was kidnapped,

If he actually loves the s/o – he would start a war like his “Father” to get them back. Like his mother, Joffrey would do anything his titles and money could buy to get you returned to him.

If he didn’t love them (this came from my sister) – he would find another s/o and move on.

Tormund – If his s/o was kidnapped, Tormund would more than likely go on a murderous rampage until he found his lady/lordly love. He’s not a man you would want to mess with.

Oberyn – If his s/o was kidnapped, (would team up with Tormund and go on a murderous rampage until he found his lady/lordly love) Oberyn wouldn’t just sit around and wait for a ransom note or anything like that. Oberyn would use the skills he had acquired over his life time and find the S.O.B. who dared to take his love away.

Ellaria – If her s/o was kidnapped,

Book version – would be logical and political and use her ties with Lords and Ladies of Dorne, the rest of Westeros, and Essos to find her love and bring them home.

Show Version – would start a war and then laugh when discovering her love had been killed (because D&D you suck).

Bran – If his s/o was kidnapped, he would use his greenseer gift to find out what happened to his s/o and then send out loyal and good men to bring him/her home.

Jon – If his s/o was kidnapped, he would stop at nothing until you were back in his arms. With how few people he has left in his life that care for him, Jon wouldn’t let you slip away either.

Sandor – If his s/o was kidnapped, he would probably get into quite a few fights trying to locate you and he would DEFINITELY not show mercy to the person who dared to take you.

Robb – If his s/o was kidnapped, he would immediately muster a force and begin to look for you. He wouldn’t rest or eat until you were found and safely back in his arms. (he would obviously feel bad for letting you get kidnapped in the first place.)

When winter comes…

  • You’ll hear no lions roar…
  • No stags grazing the fields…
  • No roses growing in the meadows…
  • No snakes in the sand…
  • The sun will cease to warm the land…
  • The krakens will freeze where they swim…
  • The flayed men will rot and wither…
  • No trouts swimming in the river and no falcons flying in the air…
  • Not even the dragons’ breath will warm you in your halls…

And the “Others” will turn man to wight…
Brace yourselves… Winter is coming.

And only the wolves will howl in the long night…
