OK so since requests are open, what would be Angelica and Eliza first reaction to meeting Peggy in the afterlife? Being without one another for so long (in Eliza case more than fifty years) must mean that they would have the sweetest reunion with their younger sister the world has ever seen. :))))

East of Eli concert in Rome with Chyler Leigh

Let’s start this recap by saying we only found out they were coming to Italy like two days before the concert itself. As Johann Frank too said on his twitter, this has been their most last minute show ever. It was amazing though, they’re all so talented and down to earth. I had such a good time and Nathan is so funny. When they took over the stage, East of Eli’s music managed to enthrall me completely. Obviously, seeing Chyler in person up so close (I was in the second row) was heart-stopping. I don’t know how it’s possible but that woman is even prettier in real life, damn! Nathan and Chyler made us laugh various times during the concert, so dorky and cute. I have a couple of videos I can share if anyone wants me to, either of them trying to speak Italian or of the live performances (Chyler’s voice ♥♥)

I really love the relationship Eli and Arisa have. I usually see people say that Eli’s line at the end - that she’s not nervous anymore - is due to Nozomi showing up, but it’s not. It’s all Arisa. Arisa and Nozomi both notice that Eli’s nervous, but Arisa is the one who comes right out and says it’s due to ballet. This is the second time this has happened; Arisa called Eli out on her actions during season 1 too, when Eli was preparing a speech for the open house.

It’s an interesting aspect to their relationship. When we first meet Arisa she’s portrayed as an innocent little girl who can’t tell the difference between a can of food and a can of drink, and Eli is the one who has to guide her. Here we have a reversal of that, where Arisa is the one pushing Eli and helping her out. Their relationship goes both ways, both needing each other, and it’s so sweet to see

Los Angeles, CA (May 19, 2017) – Annapurna will co-produce and co-finance award-winning filmmaker Jacques Audiard’s THE SISTERS BROTHERS, it was announced today. The company also holds the domestic distribution rights for the film. Why Not Productions will co-produce and co-finance the film alongside Annapurna with Page 114 also on board as producers. John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Riz Ahmed are set to star in the noir Western, written by Audiard and Thomas Bidegain, with production scheduled to begin this summer.

THE SISTERS BROTHERS, based on Patrick deWitt’s acclaimed novel of the same name, follows two brothers — Eli and Charlie Sisters — who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss. The story, a genre-hybrid with comedic elements, takes place in Oregon in 1851. The film is Audiard’s follow-up to his Palme d’Or winning DHEEPAN, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, and will be his project first shot completely in English.

Reilly originally optioned the novel and will produce alongside Michael De Luca, Rosa Attrab and Alison Dickey. Annapurna’s Megan Ellison will serve as an executive producer for the project. The international rights are being handled by IMR International.

Jake Gyllenhaal Joins Joaquin Phoenix in ‘The Sisters Brothers’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Jake Gyllenhaal is joining Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly in “The Sisters Brothers.”

Jacques Audiard is directing the indie feature, based on Patrick deWitt’s novel of the same name. Reilly, Michael De Luca, Rosa Attrab and Alison Dickey are producing.

Reilly optioned the rights to the book and will produce through his shingle with De Luca, who recently came on board as producer. The story follows two brothers — Eli and Charlie Sisters — who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss. The story takes place in Oregon in 1851.

Canadian-born author deWitt’s novel won the 2012 Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for humor writing.

“Sisters Brothers” is Audiard’s follow-up to his Palme d’Or winning “Dheepan,” which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Production is set to start sometime this summer. The noir Western will be his first film shot completely in English.

Gyllenhaal is coming off a strong year with “Demolition” and “Nocturnal Animals” and has a busy few years ahead of him: His next movie “Life,” co-starring Ryan Reynolds, was featured during the Super Bowl and debuts March 24. He also stars in the upcoming Boston marathon bombing drama “Stronger,” produced by his own Nine Stories banner for Lionsgate, and will appear in both the Netflix drama “Okja” and Paul Dano-directed movie “Wildlife,” also produced by Nine Stories. Finally, “The Division,” a feature adaptation of Ubisoft’s videogame that co-stars Jessica Chastain, recently announced Stephen Gaghan as its director.

The 36 year-old Gyllenhaal is currently prepping on Broadway for “Sundays in the Park With George,” which enters previews starting Feb. 11.

He is repped by WME.

Do you think it's possible that Brienne is a descendant of Ser Duncan the Tall? If so, could she also be related to the Targaryens? (TWOIAF mentions Tarth-Targaryen relations). Also, will her ancestry impact her story or is it just a cool tidbit?

Yes, I think it’s very probable that Brienne is a descendant of Dunk (among others). Yes, I think it’s also very probable that Brienne is related to House Targaryen, though that’s not an “if so” – the Targaryen descent has actually been referenced in TWOIAF, but her descent from Dunk is more mysterious.

Note the Tarth-Targaryen connection is not on the Targaryen family tree, which could be to prevent future Dunk&Egg story spoilers. Therefore, many think it’s possible one of Egg’s sisters (Daella or Rhae) married the Evenstar of Tarth, but that Dunk had a secret affair with her, producing a child who became Brienne’s grandfather. But the situation could be something else entirely. Like, there are other Targaryen girls on the tree who we don’t know who they married, and one of them could have married the Evenstar well before the D&E stories. And since we don’t know when Dunk became Kingsguard, perhaps he could have married and had a child who married or whose descendant married the lord of Tarth, which might be a slightly better reason for Dunk’s shield to be kept in the Tarth armory. But whatever the truth may be, Brienne doesn’t appear to know any details, which is a mystery in itself.

Now, I’m not sure if Brienne’s ancestry will affect the story (other than in the way it already has, what with her echoing Dunk’s true knight role and using his sigil on her shield), but I’m pretty sure that little tidbit in TWOIAF mentioning a Tarth-Targaryen connection was there for a reason. So if we don’t see anything further about it within ASOIAF itself, I’ll be surprised. Though it may be a subtle as dragons liking Brienne in the way that they like Brown Ben Plumm (whose Targaryen blood is weaker than Brienne’s if the Egg’s sister marriage theory is true), which could come in handy one day. Probably there wouldn’t be much more than that, but you never know.

(It is amusing to think that Brienne’s “ugly” flax-colored hair might be corrupted Targaryen ~silver-gold~ divorced from context. If we learn that Rhae or Daella has “astonishing” blue eyes (blue is an occasional Targ eye color), that would seal it, though.)

Eliumi :>

yes no say yes

  • Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa
Eli! She’s a busy girl with a lot on her mind, and sometimes she makes these little mistakes
  • Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them
Umi does it subconsciously, and she’s absolutely mortified when she snaps back to reality and finds out what she’s done. (It’s just a sign of how much she adores her girlfriend though, without even realizing it)
  • Who starts the tickle fights
Eli! She needs to help Umi loosen up sometimes
  • Who starts the pillow fights
When she’s in the mood, Umi doesn’t start pillow fights– Umi starts pillow WARS. Eli learned her lesson to never start a pillow fight against Umi. Luckily, the blonde is pretty agile so she can dodge most of Umi’s supersonic pillows, but the problem is that it takes at least 5 pillows to knock Umi out, whereas only one of Umi’s bullets sends Eli reeling. It’s a warzone.
  • Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile
Big sister Eli keeps a close eye on Umi, who is very much an “early to bed, early to rise” type of person.
  • Who mistakes salt for sugar
Eli! She tries to convince Umi that they look very similar! Then again, this is coming from the girl who tried to eat plastic chocolate once, so…
  • Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning
Eli rarely wants a snack at that hour, but when she does, she accidentally lets the beeping sound go off.
  • Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines
Umi writes all types of cheesy pick up lines when trying to come up with lyrics! She’s usually reluctant to use any of them, but Eli seems to appreciate when she does throw a goofy, flirty line her way.
  • Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order
    They do it together tbh
  • Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies
Eli’s willing to risk getting whacked by a spoon in order to taste some brownie batter
  • Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion
Umi isn’t usually the type to do such frivolous things, but she knows Eli has a tendency to overwork herself and put others first. Thus, every now and then, Umi will plan a candlelit dinner just to show her girlfriend how much she adores and appreciates her, and to have a night where Eli can actually focus on herself and her needs.
  • Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen
Umi practices her calligraphy on Eli~
  • Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation
Elichika gets as excited as a little kid whenever she goes to a new place!
  • Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines
It takes a while for Eli to persuade Umi to do something so goofy, but in the end, they both end up having a great time bonding and giggling together

Submission by Skelesister: AND PEGGY the spy

Peggy was under the kiddie table.
Peggy was being a spy.
Go Peggy!

She was giggling as she was thinking this, trying to keep quiet still as her sisters talked above her. They were talking about the other kids at the daycare and the gross middleschool kids and how Spy Peggy was the coolest!! Though that part wasn’t true, Peggy knew that if they knew what spying is, they would be constantly talking about how amazing of a spy Peggy is.

The last time she visited the other kids, Hercules taught her all about spy stuff and how to be a spy and how they were so cool! Hercules even told her about how he was spy for the daycare, and Peggy wanted to be a spy too! She also  wanted to make a mud pie to throw at Thomas but that’s different.

Hercules taught her how to be sneaky and cool and stuff and here she was and it was so fun! Even though the kitchen floor was cold and the kiddie table is small which meant she has to make sure not to hit her sisters’ feet, but spying isn’t all about fun. It was about getting the In–fo–mation though Peggy didn’t understand how you specifically got in it, just that it was a thing and an important one! Peggy would certainly make sure to ask him-

When she sneaks into the day care!!
Yeah Peggy was being a spy, and the best spy
Cause she was hiding her giggles and listening VERY carefully, though Angi and Eli were really just talking about Philip and how much of a dummy Thomas was, listening would still be very important,

Because she was Spy Peggy.
