Imagine hugging the Doctor. Imagine the way he smells and the way his hair feels against you cheek. Imagine how tight he holds you and his hand against your back. Imagine you both really needing each other, and showing it with warm hugs. Imagine him hugging you when your sad or scared, or when you’ve just been saved from danger. Imagine him hugging you when he sees you for the first time in awhile, or when you guys save the day.
Just, imagine hugging the Doctor when he needs you as much as you need him.
(Update: forgot to add, inspired by @imagineyourfandoms)
You shook as you stood before the Doctor, snow was fluttering about around you and landed in your hair. He smiled gently and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, dislodging the snow so that it landed on your eyelashes melting with the tears that where already there. “You have to go, take the TARDIS… live a life” he whispered and you shook your head “Doctor I can’t I-“ “I know” he said cutting you off “that’s why you have to go, I could be here for… a very long time and I can’t…” he sucked in a breath “I can’t watch you die” he said solidly. “You won’t watch me die, I can’t leave you. You have to understand that, please, sweetheart. Don’t do this to me” you begged. Sad eyes met your own as you shivered. The combination of the cold and the tears shook you the the very core. “I know where I am standing. The very spot. Doctor I can’t leave you.” The Doctor pulled you close resting his chin on the top of your head. “Oh Y/N… my Y/N. We both know the outcome of what happens, on Transalor” “Please, Doctor” you clung to his jacket “Shhh. Just know… I. Love. You.” You stepped back from him to look hard at his face. While the words had never been spoken between the two of you it had always been there. The unspoken connection that had bound the two of you together since the moment you had met all those years ago. “Oh my Doctor” without a single hesitation he pressed his lips to your own. You didn’t care that Clara was there, just being you watching. You didn’t care that the entire village of Christmas was watching. The forest around and the ships in the sky could have set alight and you wouldn’t have noticed. “You need to go, take Clara for me and go” he said breaking away. “Let me be selfish just this once” “How is it selfish?” you asked “Because I’m trying to save myself from the pain of watching what will come. I can’t do that” he said and you pulled a face “Doctor, that is not selfish. Its natural to want to escape pain. Allow me to be selfish” you rested you forehead against his own “Say it once more” tears streamed down your cheeks as you trembled “Say it once more… so I know. Then I’ll take Clara away.” The Doctor smiled sadly, his big puppy dog eyes that made you want to cry. “Y/N Y/L/N. I love you” “I love you” you whisper back and with one final kiss, you left. Because even though it killed you to do so, you did what everyone always did, what the Doctor said even if it hurt because he was worth the pain and sacrifice. He was worth loving like this, the crazy man in the blue box, because he was worth the demons and monsters, worth everything and more. Because he was your hero in a bow tie.

Hey there~! I was wondering if maybe you’d do an 11 x reader where she has a tattoo of his real name on her wrist (you know the whole soulmate tattoo au?) If not that’s ok too c:
A/N: wtf i didnt know about this au?????its so cute/???help????
typical British day – cloudy, gloomy and cold – peaked with bright sunlight and
your heart spurred in your chest when you opened the back door. He grabbed your hand with an excited grin,
without even a greeting, his long strides proving hard to keep up as with a
giggle a tired ‘Doctor!’ escaped your lips as you eagerly followed him out of
your home and to the TARDIS standing in your yard. The time machine wheezed,
behind the tinted glass colorful lights shone out and reached your face. He fiddled
with his keys in his spare hand, sending you a glance – his eyes shone with
stars as he took in an excited inhale of cold air.
will not believe what I found, (Name)!” The eagerness in his voice drove him to
quickly open the TARDIS’s door and fumbling a few times he finally got the key
in. It was a matter of luck, good or bad you didn’t exactly realize at the
moment, but when his eyes landed on the hand he was so tightly grasping the
smile dimmed on his face, lines of worry knitting his brows together. A single
glance was enough to make your heart drop. He flipped your wrist up and his jaw
tensed. On your soft skin was an imprint of his name, a tattoo one got when
fallen in love.
inhaled sharply, your cheeks set ablaze as even the tips of your ears started
to sting and you glanced away – the pad of his rough finger glossed over the
tattoo, carefully examining it as if it was a delicate work of art.
The Doctor asked quietly.
uhm, when you took me to see the Andromeda Galaxy.” You replied lamely, hoping
it was a sufficient answer. What you didn’t expect was to see a shadow of a
joyous grin pull on his cheeks, his tender eyes locking yours in place. For a
heart stopping moment you watched, out of breath as in his green iris shimmer
mischief. The Doctor’s expression turned pleased as if he was flattered. In a
moment of conflict he tried to convey something, something that would not leave
his lips. Recoiling, he nodded.
then…” He suddenly broke the silence, “Perhaps I shall show you mine as well…But
later!” He was suddenly back to his old self, jittery and hyper, “Now! Space!
Space awaits us, dear (Name), we have no time to waste!”
Imagine it being your birthday! You go the whole adventure for that day without a single mention of it from the Doctor. You even try to drop really obvious hints, but they seem to go right over his head. Then when you are both safe in the TARDIS after a long days work, you head to bed, bummed that he hadn’t seemed to remember at all. Only to find an hour later, when he called you back into the console room, that he had lit candles all around- on the railings, and the console. You found him standing next to the console, a destroyed cake upside down on his head, looking miserable.
“We had a bit of a malfunction.”
“… Aww, Doc, you look so adorable when you’re sad!”
“I did try to make it perfect though! I got you a present and everything… I’m sorry about the cake… Happy Birthday, Humany.”
“Thank you, Doctor. This is… truly adorable. I thought you’d forgotten!”
“No no no! There were just lots of… challenges.”
(Requested by @willow-days02, Happy birthday!!! I don’t know when you sent in the request, but still :DD)
Imagine you being the Doctor’s companion as a young teen. He’s super protective, and every time the two of you run into a friend of his, they judge you being there and try to tell him you’re too young. Every time you’re in danger, he either panics or goes on a rampage, and after almost every adventure, he has a sad talk with you about taking you home. You always manage to convince him you’re happy the way things are, and he listens.
(Requested by @timelady-emily :) Sorry you’re going through a rough time! But I’m glad you requested this, because I’ve been thinking about doing a post like this for awhile :D)

Can you do an imagine about doctor who (eleven)
where the reader and the doctor are on an adventure and they meet a weeping
angel but reader gets caught by one then the doctor saves the reader and at the
end they kiss (lots of fluff pls)
The reader getting in trouble with some kind
of alien or other kind of supernatural thing. The Doctor saves you in time and
feels like there’s something special about you that he gives you a key to the
tardis and the reader becoming the companion?
There was something in the air. An eerie
feeling confirmed my hunch that something strange was happening that day.
I tried to go on with my life, even if a
constant dread told me something awful was about to happen. Something I
couldn’t really explain. An intuition, perhaps.
All I knew was the environment felt
different. And just as I thought about that, I realized something: I couldn’t
hear a sound.
That was odd, especially because the streets
were usually crowded with people and filled with varied noises. The silence was
unsettling all of a sudden, even if some days I found myself wishing for it.
I warily walked around the streets, wondering
what was happening, when I saw it.
A strange figure, which oddly resembled a
statue even if I had a feeling it could move. It was right in front of me, and
I was paralyzed by fear.
“Don’t move!” A voice yelled behind me,
making me turn my head. “And don’t blink!”
“What?” I asked in confusion, frowning as I
stared at the strange man running in my direction.
“No, don’t look at me! Look at it!” The man
told me urgently, pointing a finger to the statue in front of me. “Keep your
eyes on it!”
I obeyed, turning my head again so I was
facing it. Once my eyes were settled on it, I realized it was closer. At mere
centimeters from my face.
I screamed in fear, realizing it had actually
moved. It was alive, or at least sentient. Which was extremely scary.
Especially due to the fact that it had moved
its hands to uncover his eyes and the angelical and calm posture from before
evolved into a threatening and wild one that seemed to imply it wanted to kill
me. Judging by its teeth and terrifying appearance.
“What is this?!” I exclaimed, keeping my eyes
on the statue and trying not to blink as the man had commanded me to.
“Weeping angels” He replied, getting ahold of
my wrist and cautiously and slowly pulling at it. “If you aren’t looking at
them, they move and get you”
“Then what should we do?” I gulped, breathing
heavily because of the fear that was taking over me.
“Just keep looking” He said as though he was
trying to stay calm.
“Okay” I slowly walked with him as he gently
pulled at my wrist, still trying to take a few steps away from them.
Imagine waking up on Christmas morning to a call from your parents saying they had a break in, and that they had managed to handcuff the intruder at gunpoint (something that was legal where you live) and that the police were on their way. You quickly drive over to check on them, only to find a very flustered Doctor handcuffed on the dining room chair. He gets incredibly happy to see you, and reveals that the TARDIS had accidentally given him your old address instead of your current one.
“Doc?! What are you doing here?”
“Well I was trying to surprise you for Christmas but… wrong house I suppose.”
“Yeah- you supposed correctly!”
(Parental Unit #1) “You know him?!”
“Yes, unfortunately. This giddy idiot is the Doctor.”
(GUYS LOOK AT HOW CUTE AND HAPPY HE IS I MISS HIM SO MUCH OMG HE’S SO ADORABLE LOOK AT THAT GIF HE’S SO PURE)
