A story is true. A story is untrue. As time extends, it matters less and less. The stories we want to believe those are the ones that survive, despite upheaval and transition and progress. Those are the stories that shape history.

anonymous asked:

You do realize the E is not a tattoo. Makes me sick that you think Louis and Elanor are a thing. They're not. She's just a beard.

You do realize that that Harry and Louis are not real? Like, I don’t know what else it’s gonna take for you guys to accept this? If it were, Harry would’ve been there for Louis when his mom was sick instead of recording his album because you know that’s what real boyfriends would do. If they were together, Louis would’ve been there for Harry for SNL and when his single dropped because good supportive boyfriends would do that. Instead, Louis was with Eleanor, a person he wants to be with. Harry’s doing what he wants to do. Not everything these men do is connected, in fact most things they’re doing now has NOTHING to do with each other lately.

Makes me sick to think that you are forcing your hyped up fake ideals of Harry and Louis on not only them but also their loved ones for YEARS now because you want to believe Larry is real. It’s not. It’s just not. It makes me sick how many people like you have harassed and sent death threats to people in the boys’ lives. Makes me sick that you say that you support Louis and Harry but rip apart the people in their lives and everything else they do unless it might somehow possibly be maybe be related to Larry, if you theorize it is and squint your eyes enough to morph it into something you want.

You all say that Louis and Harry are puppets and on strings, with no choice in any aspect of their lives and are motivated by greed. Why, in a fandom that is primarily on the LGBT+ spectrum and all the fans basically support LGBT+ people, would evil management try to cover a secret relationship? Why do you think Louis, who has always been apologetically himself and states his feelings on everything, would agree to hide his sexuality, just for money? Why do you think Harry, who has grown leaps and bounds in self confidence over the years and publicly supports LGBT+, would allow a management team to suppress who he is?

You all think the fandom is 12 year old girls, and you’re not better then the clueless society. Most of us are late teenagers to mid twenties-WE’RE BUYING THEIR ALBUMS! NOT PARENTS! If Larry was real and came out, sales wouldn’t deplete like you all think. There’s no real reasons Larry would be covered up if it was real.

Now let’s look at the facts:

Louis’ said he’s straight in the past. He’s dated women publicly. Even his mum’s private wedding pictures showed him with Eleanor, smiling and happily together. Where there any of Larry on Jay’s computer??? Hmm, nope-not one ;/ Louis was with Eleanor for nearly 4 YEARS! What person would agree to suppress who they just for a paycheck? He wanted to be with Eleanor, and Hannah before her and Briana and Danielle. He’s back with Eleanor now because HE WANTS TO BE because he must feel like that’s a good WOMAN! Eleanor’s not a beard, sorry hun. She cares for Louis and Louis wants to go out with her and hold her hand. He’s defended her several times in the past and has even physically pulled off someone who was attacking her recently. If Eleanor was a beard hindering Louis from being with his true love Harry, why did he decide to go back with her?

Harry just did an interview where he literally said this album is about a woman. He talked about dating Taylor Swift. Harry said in the interview that he was being honest with the interviewer. He’s never publicly stated his sexuality but one must assume that because he’s dated women in the past he likes women to a certain degree? Plus Harry has a new team now managing him, and Columbia records has been praised for DECADES as being a wonderful label to work for. Harry has had opportunities for two years now to come out, he hasn’t. In fact, he spent New Year’s Eve on a yacht getting cuddly with another woman, not Louis.

Zayn left 1D and said there was no private relationships in the band and that those rumors of Larry being real hurts the boys. AGAIN! He wasn’t under the evil grips of Modest! at this point.

Liam said in Attitude mag that Larry isn’t real and it’s a cult full of conspiracies.

Louis’ denied it several times.

You just wanna believe yourself and your ideas more then the words and the actions of an idol you “love”

You just want that ‘E’ to be an ‘H’ so bad but it’s not, it’s just not. I wish you guys will just accept this and move on. You have a life, go out and do something with it instead of marking trying to convince me that Larry’s real because you think Eleanor’s a beard.

Louis wants to be with Eleanor, is a dad and doing his own solo work. Harry’s going solo and doing amazing with his life. You should accept these truths and be happy. If you can’t,move on and try to take back the time you’ve wasted trying to convince others and yourself Larry is real

Bonding

George Washington x Reader, Bro!Alex x Reader’s Daughter

Modern AU

Sequel to: Meeting the Family, Becoming Part of the Family, Baby Washington, Welcome to the Family

Author: Lil Laddie

Words: 1392

Warnings: Babies, inexperienced baby sitting, swearing, I don’t know very much about babies sorry

Request: Have you considered writing another sequel for Meeting the Family? Where Alex and the baby bond or going to the distant future where her big brothers beat up boys that flirt with her or the guy who broke her heart? Or both? It’s always up to you, but I would love to read it! -anon

A/N: So, I just did the first part of this with the bonding and I will do another one probably on Tuesday with the boys beating up people that break the girls heart. Sadly, this doesn’t have too much reader in this and I’m really sorry for that. And it’s also more of a Fem!reader and I apologize for that because I do like to make things as unisex as possible. Hope you guys enjoy this though and have an amazing day! Love y’all!

Eleanor was growing quickly and Alex had made it painfully obvious by staying away from her. He still wanted nothing to do to her, meanwhile the other boys couldn’t leave her alone. Besides all the attempt you and George made, Alex refused to spend anymore time with Eleanor than he needed to. That was until he was stuck babysitting her.

“Why am I babysitting her? Can’t someone else do it?” Alex whined, watching you and George get ready for a business party he had that night.

“Sorry Alex, but everyone else is busy tonight.” You smiled sympathetically, ruffling his hair as you walked past him.

“I’m busy tonight too!” Alex exclaimed, glaring at you and George.

“Really? Doing what? This afternoon when I asked, you said you were going to be staying home tonight.” George said, trying not to lose his patience with him.

“Yeah, until I found out I’d be stuck with her.” Alex growled, just the thought of the baby making him even more angry.

“Alex, what do you want us to do? Make one of the other boys cancel on their plans?” You asked, slowly growing exasperated with the complaining boy.

“That sounds perfect!” Alex nodded, looking at the two of you expectantly.

“That’s not fair to the others. They have been babysitting her every time we go out for the past six months of her life. It’s time you helped out Alex.” George said, pulling on his suit jacket as you grabbed your own coat.

“You can’t leave me with her!” Alex cried, following the two of you into the little play pen where Eleanor was crawling around.

“You’ll be fine Alex, she’s just a baby.” You said, picking up Eleanor from the play pen. “She already had dinner so there’s not much you have to do. Just let her crawl around and play for a little bit, maybe you could read to her and put her to bed at 7:30. Remember to keep the baby monitor next to you at all times.”

“I don’t think I can do this.” Alex gulped as you handed him Eleanor to hold.

“Call us if anything happens.” George said to Alex, before softening slightly as he turned to Eleanor. “Bye bye sweetheart. Be a good girl for Alex!”

The two of you hugged Alex and Eleanor before leaving the house and the two of them alone.

“Ugh, it’s just me and you now.” Alex sighed looking down at the girl who was just staring at the door her parents had just gone through.

“Dada?” Eleanor asked, her eyes starting to well up with tears.

“Yeah, he left you kid.” Alex said, not noticing that Eleanor was on the verge of crying.

“DADA!” Eleanor started to scream and cry making Alex jump.

Alex had no idea what to do. Sure, he had seen the rest of the family take care of Eleanor, but he had never done it himself. He had no experience with babies and started to look around frantically for something to calm her down.

“Um…you want your blanket?” Alex asked, trying to hand the girl he favorite blanket that she quickly denied. “Okay, how about this teddy bear?” He tried again only for the crying to get louder.

He started thinking really of hard on what he had seen the others do. Hercules would usually start humming a song. Thomas would usually started bouncing her and talk in a soothing voice. And Aaron would usually hand the baby to anyone else before running out of the room.

Deciding to follow the other boys example, besides Aaron, he started to bounce Eleanor gently as he paced the room and sang one of his favorite songs very softly. Eleanor slowly began to stop crying and instead look up at the boy that was holding her. Eleanor had only been held by Alex once but, found him very safe to be around.

“See? There’s no need to cry.” Alex said in almost a whisper, the girl in his arms starting to smile up at him.

“Okay let’s go down to the living room so I can watch a movie while you play with whatever the hell these toys are.” Alex said, grabbing a few of Eleanor’s toys before taking her down to the living room.

Alex placed her inside another one of her play pens with her toys. Alex turned on a movie and almost forgot about the small girl crawling around. That was until she started throwing her toys at him.

“What do you want?” Alex snapped, Eleanor giggled at his unamused expression. “Oh, you think it’s funny when I’m upset do ya?”

Eleanor crawled the closest she could to Alex while staying within her play pen. She held up her arms as a signal to be lifted up. Alex sighed and rolled his eyes before picking the small girl up.

“You’re needy, did you know that?” Alex asked, Eleanor snuggling into his chest as he sat back down on the couch.

Alex looked down at the small girl in his arms and couldn’t help but smile. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was warming up the girl. Looking at her smiling up at him, Alex could feel his heart break a little. He had been ignoring this little girl for the first seven months of her life. Strangely enough, Alex hadn’t done a lot with Eleanor that night but he felt a bond with her. She was his baby sister and he felt the need to protect her.

“Ellie, you’re making me go soft. Stop looking at me.” Alex grumbled, hoping to make these feelings of love for her go back to hatred and envy. “Oh god, I used a nickname.” Alex huffed, realizing his mistake.

Eleanor giggled, making Alex look back down at her.

“Well, since we’re going to be here a while, I guess you may as well learn something.” Alex sighed, before moving Eleanor onto his lap to face him. “Repeat after me, Alex.”

Eleanor stared up at him blankly as he looked at her expectantly.

“Okay, we will try again. Alex. Al-ex.” He tried pronouncing out the syllables more clearly only to be met with silence again. “Come on! It’s not that hard, Ellie. If you can say Dada and Mama then you can say Alex. Al-ex, Alex, Al-ex.”

Eleanor smiled not even opening her mouth for an attempt.

“Well, I guess some of us are slow-” Alex was stopped mid sentence by the little girl in his lap.

“Awex! Awex! AWEX!” Eleanor started yelling, Alex grinned widely.

“That’s my girl, now let’s teach you what you need to call Thomas.” Alex smirked before pulling a picture of Thomas in front of the girl.

You and George walked slowly into the peaceful house. It was almost too peaceful. You could hear the sounds of a movie coming from the living room.

“Do you think Alex got Eleanor to bed fine tonight?” You asked, the two of you walking down the hallway towards the living room.

“I’m sure he did great. I mean he didn’t call us at all.” George reassured you.

“Okay, I just hope this didn’t make him dislike her anymore.” You said, peeking your head into the living room before giggling. “Actually, I think Alex may have made a new friend.”

“What do you mean?” George asked, following your gaze before starting to laugh.

Alex was lying on the couch fast asleep with a Eleanor snuggled into his chest. He had one arm wrapped around her to keep her from rolling off of him and the couch. The two of them had a happy expression on their face as they slept.

“Should we wake them?” George asked, a large smile on his face.

“No, let’s let them sleep.” You smiled, leaning into George.

“I told you Alex would eventually get over it. He just needed some time to get to know her.” George said, pressing a kiss to your cheek before the two of you headed to your bedroom.

You and George were ecstatic that finally all of the boys loved Eleanor just as much as the two of you did. Everything seemed to finally fall into place. At least until the next morning where Eleanor would start to call Thomas some things you’d rather not repeat. Well, at least they bonded.

Title: Fire Saftey Part 1

Character: Patrick Sullivan

Movie: The Accidental Husband

Warnings: None, fluff!

Special shout out to @ladylorelitany and @magikat409!

Holding her stuffed bunny rabbit by the ear, little Eleanor “Ellie” Lail shuffled her way down the hall.

She looked around, making sure that no one was out and watching her.

Eleanor had a plan brewing, one that would help her Aunt Y/N Knowles in the best of ways.

Eleanor had been at school, the whole Kindergarten class outside for fire safety week.

There, she had seen a tall, handsome fireman by the name of Patrick. He had dimples and Eleanor knew for a fact that her Auntie loved dimples.

Shoving her bunny into her overalls, Eleanor looked around one more time.

Reaching up until she was on her tiptoes, she hooked her fingers onto the white latch and dropped down to the flat of her feet, using her weight to pull down hard.

Immediately the bell sounded. Eleanor took off in a run towards her Aunties apartment, her little legs moving quickly and her pigtails bouncing.
°°°°°°
I shot up off of the couch, hearing the fire alarm once again and the front door slamming.

“Christ, another one!?” I grumbled, rubbing my eyes.

“Ellie baby?” I hollered, searching the hall for her.

“I’m wight here, Aunt Y/N!”

I looked towards the end of the hall to find Eleanor breathing heavily, Mr. Floppy tucked into her overalls.

“Where were you?” I asked her, picking her up.

“Over at Chawies. We was playin’.” she said, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I carried her out the door and down a flight of stairs to go outside and wait for the fire department to show.

As we waited, I found a place on the brick wall to take a seat. My body ached from working so many hours, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Ellie was my responsibility now… My sister had passed away about a year before hand and she had left me as the sole caregiver of Ellie.

I made sure that she never hurt for anything; her happiness and well being was my number one focus.

I had nearly fallen asleep sitting up when Eleanor tugged on my shirt, “What Hun?”

She pointed at a fireman, a smile on her face,”Lookit, Aunt Y/N! That’s the fireman that came to my school!”

I couldn’t get a good look at him and that’s when I realized that I didn’t even have my glasses on.

Gah, I hoped that the building wasn’t on fire.

The visit from the men didn’t last long, but some seemed quite pissed.

“Mistur Patwick! Mistur Patwick!” Eleanor called out, flailing her arms.

The man looked over and smiled as he came closer to where we were sitting.

“Well, well. If it isn’t little Miss Ellie, right?”

Eleanor gasped, her eyes wide, “He remembured my name!”

“Why wouldn’t I?” he chuckled.

“Dis is my Aunt Y/N!”

I squinted at the man; he was still slightly blurry.

He held out his hand, “Nice to meet you, Y/N,”

I shook his hand, blushing when I saw his dimples, “Likewise,”

“Hey Patrick! We gotta go, man!” one of the men by the fire truck yelled.

“It’s safe to go back in, but we’ve been asking that everyone keep an eye out; see who’s pulling the alarms.”

“Sure, thank you for coming out.”

“Not a problem. Ladies,” Patrick nodded his head and walked off, his boots thudding on the cement.

When I turned around to pick Ellie up, I found her with her arms crossed and a pout on her face.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nuffin’.”

“Ummm, okay… Let’s go inside and get you some dinner made,”

For the rest of the night and well into the week, Ellie was in a sour mood.

It was a Thursday night when I had come home early and had all the household work done, that I had decided to follow Ellie to see what she was up to.

That was when I found out it had been her that had been pulling the alarm.

Just as she reached up, I hollered at her, “Eleanor Rose Lail!”

She screamed when she spun around. Her bottom lip began to quiver and her eyes filled with chunky tears.

“Young lady, just what do you think you’re doing!?” I demanded.

She started to hiccup cry, “I- I- I just wanted you to be happy!”

My brows furrowed. I didn’t even know whether to be mad at her or not.

“Ellie,” I sighed, kneeling down.

“I’m sowwie!” she cried, cuddling Mr. Floppy to her face.

I gently took her hand and led her back to the apartment.

“Awre you mad?” she hiccuped.

“I’m not exactly happy, Ellie, but we’re going down to the fire station and you’re apologizing to those men whose time you wasted.”

She sniffled, taking the sleeve of her shirt and wiping her nose, “Yes Ma’am.”
°°°°°°
The wind was sharp and cold as we walked to the fire station. Ellie had been quiet the whole time.

As soon as we neared the station, we saw a few of the men were outside washing one of the trucks.

I cleared my throat to gain their attention, “I’m looking for Patrick?”

“Yo, Patrick! Broad out here to see ya’s!”

I pushed my glasses up my nose, finally able to see the dimples clearly as Patrick smiled.

“Hey Ellie, Y/N.”

Ellie immediately teared up as I nodded, “Can I speak to you, privately?”

The smile slipped from his face, concern taking place, “Yeah, sure. Come on in Sweetheart.”

Patrick led us inside where it was warm. The kitchen and living room were practically one room.

“You alright, Y/N?” he asked, folding his arms over his broad chest.

Eleanor looked up at me. I gently nudged her, “Go on,”

She played with her bunny’s ears, her lip quivering, “It was me Mr. Patwick,”

Patrick knelt down to her level, “What are you talking about Ellie?”

“I pulled da fire alarm,” fat tears rolled down her rosy cheeks.

Patrick sighed, scratching his brow with his thumb, “Ellie, Honey, you can’t be doing that. Why would you do it?”

“Because I wanted Aunt Y/N to be happy…”

He looked up at me slightly confused, “I’m not following,”

“You can make Aunt Y/N happy. She takes vewy good care of me! She needs someone take of her too and she’s vewy bootiful!”

“Okay, okay… One thing at a time, Ellie. I’m gonna have some of the guys show you around and teach you a few things okay?”

Ellie nodded and wiped her nose, “You’re not mad?”

Patrick smiled and tucked away a loose curl, “No Honey, but you can’t pull the fire alarm anymore.”

“Yes sir,”

Patrick called one of his coworkers over and had him show Ellie the ropes.

I stood by the couch, staring at my sneakers. When Patrick came back over, he touched my arm.

“I’ll pay what ever fines, just send me a bill.”

“Don’t worry about that. Come sit down.” Taking me by the elbow, he led me to the couch where we sat at the same time.

“It seems we have a little Cupid in our midst,” he chuckled.

I blushed, playing with my fingers, “Yeah… I’m really sorry about the trouble that Ellie has caused,”

“She’s just a kid and she means well, Y/N,”

“Thank you… for being so understanding,” I said, my voice breaking at the end.

Patrick’s brows furrowed as he leaned closer and placed a hand on my knee, “It’s no problem, Sweetheart, really.”

I cleared my throat, not knowing what possessed me to spill my guts, “My sister passed away in a car wreck about a year ago,”

Patrick’s other hand rubbed my back, “Ellie’s mom?”

I nodded.

“Shit, I’m sorry, Y/N,”

“Eleanor means well… I guess, maybe I should let go of a few hours at work so that I can be home with her more… I just don’t want to drown in bills,”

“That’s understandable,”

We fell in a comfortable silence as Patrick continued to gently rub my back.

“Listen, Ellie did get something right,”

“What’s that?”

“You are very beautiful,”

I snorted, slapping a hand over my mouth after the noise escaped me.

Patrick laughed.

He did have some amazing dimples when he smiled.

He licked his lips and smiled, “Let me take you out, on a real date.”

“Oh I don’t-”

“C'mon, just one and if you don’t wanna go out again, I’ll take it as it is. Please?”

I stared into his eyes, seeing the genuineness there. Nodding, I decided to live a little, “Okay,”

“Yesss!” Ellie screeched, making us both jump at the high pitched sound.

“Eleanor Rose Lail!” I smiled, but scolded.

She giggled and covered her mouth, “Sowwie,”

Thanks babes!😍❤💓💖❤❤❤ - anon

A/N: I am so sorry I didn’t get this out on Thursday like I promised! I freaking love writing about this whole family situation in this imagines so if you ever want anymore let me know! This is the second half of the request, in case you didn’t know. I hope that you guys like it and have an amazing day! Love you!

“They’ll be here any minute now!” John squeaked, straightening out the pillows on the couch.

You and George were heading home from the hospital with your new baby girl while at the house, the boys were frantically trying to clean it before you got there. They wanted it to look perfect for the first time their baby sister would see it.

“They’re here!” Aaron screamed as he peaked his head between the curtains covering the window.

The boys bolted down the stairs into the living room. They all sat down on the couch facing the door, waiting anxiously to see the little girl again. They had only seen her once or twice at the hospital and they, excluding Alex, couldn’t wait to see her again.

“Boys!” George called, as he opened the door. His eyes widened in shock as he stared at the boys sitting anxiously on the couch.

“What’s wrong?” You asked, not hearing the usual pounding of footsteps as you walked up to the porch.

“Nothing, just the boys are already waiting for us.” George chuckled, opening the door for you and the small baby cradled in your arms to get through. George walked in behind you holding the baby bag.

“Hi boys!” You grinned, all of them looking more at the baby then you as they returned your greeting.

“How’s she doing?” James asked, jumping in his seat in excitement.

“She’s doing good! The doctors say that she seems very healthy for a newborn.” You said, looking down at the small baby in your arms fondly.

“What did you decide to name her?” Thomas asked, a wide smile on his face.

“We decided to name her Eleanor.” George said, putting an arm around your shoulders and pressing a kiss to your temple.

“Isn’t that an old lady name?” Alex scoffed, looking at the baby with distaste.

“I think it’s adorable! I can already tell, it will suit her perfectly!” Laf shot down Alex’s comment.

“Thank you Laf.” You paused, a yawn escaping your lips.

“You’re tired. How about me and the boys watch Eleanor while you go take a shower and a nap.” George suggested, looking down at you with worry.

“I’m fine, I don’t need to take a nap.” You protested, not wanting to leave your newborn and miss the next adorable thing she would do.

“You’re exhausted, now go. She’ll be in good hands and I promise I will wake you immediately if she does anything new.” George promised, gently taking Eleanor out of your arms.

“Fine.” You sighed, turning and walking up the stairs to your room.

“Can I hold her?” Hercules asked, his hands fidgeted nervously as George stared him down.

“Of course you can, but you must be very gentle.” George said, helping Hercules put his arms in the right position before softly placing the baby in Hercules’s arms.

“Wow.” Hercules breathed out, staring at his younger sister in awe.

He had never seen anything so pure and innocent before. All he wanted to do was protect her from anything bad in the world and keep her safe. He smiled down at Eleanor as she smiled back up at him. It was a moment that Hercules would never forget.

“Hercules.” George said, breaking Hercules out of the trance he was in. “Let’s take Eleanor up to see her new room.”

Hercules grinned and nodded, slowly walking towards the stairs while holding Eleanor tightly in his arms. The other boys followed closely behind him and George as they winded up the staircase and through the hallways until they found the recently built nursery. The room used to be George’s office, but he had quickly given it up when he realized the baby would need a room to sleep in.

“Eleanor, this is your room.” James said, turning to look at her. “This is the crib you’ll sleep in. The closest has lot’s of clothes for you to wear and we already have a whole stash of toys for you!”

“You know she doesn’t understand that, right?” Alex snarked, standing near the door frame of the room.

“She may not understand it, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t appreciate the tour any less. Any welcoming voice is something she loves to hear.” Hercules defended James, glaring slightly at Alex.

Ever since the pregnancy had been announced, no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t get Alex to like the idea. He had told everyone that he would always hate the new addition to the family. They thought him meeting her would change it, but sadly it was no use.

“Can we dress her up?” James asked, jumping onto George’s side.

“James, she’s a baby not a doll.” George said, giving the boy a look that very clearly said no.

“I know that! But we could surprise mom when she wakes up by having Eleanor all pretty and ready for the day!” James explained, giving George his biggest puppy dog eyes.

“She would love that!” Hercules grinned, turning to George with his own puppy dog eyes.

“I guess she might enjoy that…” George sighed as James and Hercules looked at each other with excitement, most of the other boys left the room not wanting to participate.

“Being a fashion guru, I guess you will need my help.” Thomas said, strutting further into the room, Lafayette following closely after him.

“I’m his assistant. I may not know fashion as well as he does, but I do know a good outfit when I see one.” Laf said, his walk much less confident than Thomas’s.

“Okay, James start going through the closet! Laf and Thomas, make yourself comfortable. I’ll be in charge of changing her and making sure the outfits aren’t a complete disaster before I put them on her.” Hercules ordered, each of the boys moving to their part.

“Where to start?” James sighed, looking through the large amount of baby clothes.

“Start with casual day wear.” Thomas said, turning to look at George who leaned against the wall watching them with amusement. “How are you going to be helping?”

“By making sure you don’t break my baby.” George replied, not taking his eyes off of Hercules and Eleanor.

“Good idea!” Laf grinned, giving his dad a thumbs up.

“Thanks Laf.” George chuckled quietly.

“Thomas, I don’t know how to tell you this…” James trailed off, trying to figure out how to tell Thomas without him freaking out. “It seems that all Eleanor has is casual day wear.”

“What? Nothing else? That will not do!” Thomas cringed slightly at the sight of the clothing items. He was going to need to start shopping for better outfits for the baby because obviously he’d be the only person good for the job.

George pushed himself off the wall and quickly left the nursery. He knew that you would kill him if you didn’t get to see this. With that in mind, George ran into your room and kneeled by where you lay on the bed.

“Babe.” George whispered, lightly shaking you awake from your nap. “You’re going to want to see this.” George laughed, extending his hand to help you off the bed.

You followed George down the hallway where you could hear giggling. There was a hushed conversation about clothes at the end of the hallway where the nursery was. You looked at George in confusion as he continued to tug you towards the room.

When you walked in, you couldn’t believe your eyes. There stood Hercules holding Eleanor in his arms wearing a cute gray elephant onesie you had bought a couple months back with pastel pink pants. James was behind Hercules, rummaging through the closet and putting together outfits. Laf and Thomas sat on the ground in front of Hercules, giving constructive criticism for the outfit Eleanor was currently wearing.

“What’s going on boys?” You asked, slightly giggling.

“We’re going through Eleanor’s wardrobe. I think I need to go with you the next time you go shopping for clothes.” Thomas explained, still studying the outfit Eleanor was in. “She needs a couple more classy outfits. And maybe a bit more edgy.”

“She doesn’t even have a leather jacket! It’s all casual day wear!” Laf exclaimed in horror, you and George trying to hold back the bursts of laughter that was bubbling up.

“Well she’s going to be growing very fast over the next couple months, so I don’t want to blow a bunch of money on clothes that won’t laster her longer than a couple weeks or so.” You said, Thomas looking at you with wide eyes.

“But fashion, mom, fashion! It doesn’t matter how long she can wear it for! She needs to slay and break hearts!” Thomas said, the other boys nodding at his words.

“We can continue this conversation later. It’s meal time for Eleanor, but afterwards I believe this fashion show will need to continue.” You smiled at the four boys, Hercules handing Eleanor to you.

You walked back to your room sitting alone on the bed with Eleanor while George stayed in the nursery to talk to the boys.

“Welcome to the family Eleanor.” You whispered, smiling at the small girl in your arms. “We’re a crazy bunch, but don’t doubt for a minute that we don’t all love you. Even Alex loves you, he’ll just need a little longer than the others to realize that. This is where you belong, we’re your family and we’ll always be here.”

Those girls claim they’re fans but they’re like: “I was with the girl over here, the one with the blue jacket”. Just shut up, you knew who Eleanor was. And they’re smiling like they’re fucking proud of themselves. If someone had really socked you, you wouldn’t be smiling like that.
