Watch on

Wow, good job Joanna Newsom on being the cutest fucking thing.

56: What do you usually do first in the morning?

Drag myself to the shower if I have to go to work that day. If it’s a day off, it seems to vary, but I guess the most frequent thing I do is go for a walk.

59: Green or purple grapes?

I tend to favor purple grapes. I’ll gladly eat either, though. (Considering I also favor red wines over white, that probably makes sense.)

66: Is there one person in your life that can always make you smile?

There was, but I haven’t seen her in forever. (Not a crush, just in case anyone’s wondering, but just a good friend with whom I’ve always had great conversations with.)

this is actually beautiful

Yayyyyyy. It might be cliche and over done but the similarity of shape with the female body and wooden instruments have always fascinated me. I’m glad I didn’t TOTALLY gross everyone out.

i was triggered.

thanks @ehayes

16. Did the one person who hurt you most in your life apologize?

It’s my mother, and she has not apologized for the first 18 years of my life she’s tried to shove her religion down my throat and generally make my life a living hell driven by it. (She was and still is a Jehovah’s Witness … yeah, enough said.)

23. How many countries have you visited?

Hmm … Germany, Italy, Spain, Korea, Mexico, Canada … add the U.S. to that and that’s 7.

41. If you could trade places with any person living or dead, who would you trade places with?

I had answered this one before, but I’ll give a different answer this time. I think being Caesar Augustus would be pretty damn cool. I’d have my fair share of huge military victories and conquests, and a long rule and life because I didn’t get stabbed 23 times like my uncle. :P

okay okay M, Q, S!

Hmm … some of the trickier ones. Cool.

M: Matter, because energy is related to it anyway, and it just seems like a more versatile power to have all around. Changing whatever’s there into whatever I want would work out quite nicely.

Q: Just as long as being “dirt poor” meant I at least got to be solvent, I’d go with that plus being emotionally fulfilled. I know I’d hate feeling like crap every day even with riches.

S. I’d go with being the only mind reader in the world, mostly because I’d imagine the latter case, where everyone else could read all minds, would be a rather oppressive society. If they can’t get me for thought crime they’d probably get me for something else eventually. :(

yay! i like short stories cause i dont get to read on a consistent basis, so i can pick it up like two weeks later and just start a new story instead of being like wow i have no idea what is happening. yay books and libraries!

Yeah! I know what you mean. That’s why David Sedaris was the first author that I really got into because I could do just that.
