“– I’m really sorry to have to break this to you, but… your bear is sick. Yeah, he’s – he’s got… – Lollipop disease. – Lollipop disease. – It’s not uncommon for a bear his size, but, see, it’s really contagious.”
some dubious pride & prejudice pun? negotiatons? intrigue? fweh
my instinctive preference would be for the politician, rather than the monarch, but instinctive preferences are a bit unadventurous. and i suppose i have given much more thought to the elusive character of “hugh,” tho he is neither a politician nor a monarch. and of course your entire host of characters could, for the most part, fill either role quite well, with some obvious exceptions
O unrelated a prompt using our respective villains as the protagonists could be curious.
or i could invent someone. hwee
the language barrier could be greatly diverting to devise… and i suppose regardless of who we choose we should decide whether or not “a tentative friendship” forms, or “even a romance! *giggle*” (i like the emphatic italics at the end of the prompt. hah) i imagine the character a’s prejudice would be behavior-based? like constantly expecting b to, i dunno, behead someone when the going gets rough? very elementary. eh
