This is an independent film with a low budget and it shows, some of the film (especially the exposition cards) looks pretty amateur.

But… I actually really enjoyed watching this. It definitely does the book justice (despite departing from its story in many places, but what film adaptation doesn’t?) and it actually made me think and feel a lot. It fucked me up in the best possible way. :D

Watch this film if you want to have disturbing revelations about war, discrimination, the legal system and society; have mind-bending revelations about extra dimensions, geometry and our place in the Universe; and most importantly if you want to have emotional moments over squares and triangles and spheres!

You, who are blessed with shade as well as light, you, who are gifted with two eyes, endowed with the knowledge of perspective, and charmed with the enjoyment of various colours, you who can actually see an angle, and contemplate the complete circumference of a Circle in the happy region of Three Dimensions- how shall I make it clear to you the extreme difficulty which we in Flatland experience in recognizing one another’s configuration?
