One of the most frustrating things about greys anatomy this season is the dropping of storylines. None of the storylines have had any movement let alone any resolution. Initially I thought it was because they have have a huge cast but now I think it’s because of lazy writing. When you look back especially in seasons 6-8 the cast was HUGE but the writers and Shonda still found a way to continue with the storylines. This season has been so underdeveloped and Shonda’s wasting valuable time on characters and storylines the audience does not want to see. And for some reason greys has forgotten how to write friendships anymore other than Meredith and Alex. What happened to April and Arizona? Or April and Riggs for that matter? Jackson and Alex used to be friends what happened? Meredith and April used to be friends seasons 7-8 what happened? This show used to have some iconic and I mean iconic friendships. From MAGIC to MAJAC, to Mark and Callie, Meredith and Cristina, April and Jackson to Cristina and Alex and all the other great friendships. The entire cast used to have chemistry with each other and the current cast doesn’t.
When will Shonda care about greys anatomy again? This season has been so underwritten and underdeveloped. You have Jackson and April have sex and then have no interaction between the two for 5 episodes. You have Owen and Amelia fighting about the same thing that Cristina and Owen have. You have this back and forth thing with Riggs and Meredith that doesn’t seem to be resolving. And you have Alex pop in every four episodes just to encourage Meredith. What the hell is going on with this show? Why are you focusing on storylines that people don’t care about? And Minnick?? Really?
