How Various Rogues Attempt Get Jon to Eat

Because I legitimately headcanon that Jon tries very hard to live on black coffee and air like, 75% of the time.

Edward: Programs riddles into the coffee machine and refuses to remove them until Jon eats a proper meal.

Jervis: Forces Jon to join a tea party and doesn’t let him leave until he has eaten at least one thing.

Selina: Makes him stuff like this:

Only edible (because jello brains are appetizing right?)

Ivy: Repeatedly sends him random fruits and has trained her plants to lock him in her greenhouse until he eats something whenever he visits.

Harley: Bakes cakes and various sweets for him

Jason: Inadvertently helps by showing up at Jon’s house injured and because Jon is from the South his first instinct is to feed Jason and Jason stares at him if he doesn’t eat.

Croc: Takes him out drinking and makes him eat while he’s drunk.

Garfield: Sends one of his giant dogs to Jon’s house with food

Oswald: Gives him discounts at the Iceberg Lounge if he orders food.

Yeah but do you guys realize how many headcanons can come from Rogues at christmas

- Mr Freeze being actually allowed outside of his cell b/c it’s cold enough

- Harley belting out Christmas Carols starting from November 30th to January 2nd

- Edward asking christmasy riddles instead of his usual riddles

- Jervis making santa hats for everyone which they accept but on the sly check for mind control chips just in case

- Bruce lowkey making sure they get an actual christmas this time

- Killer crocs tank decorated with painted snowmen and santas

- Ivy hanging mistletoe over every entrance and then pulling Harley under every single one

- Firefly being kept away from the christmas tree because he might get a bit too enthusiastic with the bulbs

- Jonathan having to hang the bulbs by the top of the tree b/c he’s the only one tall enough to reach them

- Harvey trying to decide between a candy cane stripe tie or a reindeer tie

- Oswald decking out the iceburg lounge with tinsel and holly, complete with only the Michael Buble soundtrack

- Joker joining Harley in singing the Christmas carols but in a slightly more inappropriate manner like

Arkham xmas headcanons

Extraneous details on Rogues that I will only occasionally mention

Basically this is stuff various rogues are wearing in every scene I write for them but I don’t go out of my way to point out that they’re wearing it unless it’s important.

Movie Monday! #80

‘Movie Monday’ is a blog post I share every Monday talking about the 3
movies that have caught my attention to the most that week. Sharing how
their plots, how their trailers attracted me and what the critics have to say
them (if it’s already released).
You can click on the name of the movie to see the trailer.

1. Downsizing (2017)

When scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall as a solution to overpopulation, Paul and his wife Audrey decide to abandon their stressed lives in order to get small and move to a new downsized community - a choice that triggers life-changing adventures.

Starring Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig in the lead roles.

With Jason Sudeikis, Hong Chau and Christoph Waltz in the supporting roles.

Obviously the cast made me look twice at the movie but it’s Alexander Payne (the director) because of whom I genuinely became interested.

I was checking out the reviews and they are very polarizing, some people liked it and some didn’t and it’s understandable considering the plot is so damn weird. But keep in mind that at the end of the day, it’s a social satire and satires have always gotten mixed reactions. I, for one, will surely watch it because of it’s peculiarity.

2. Isle of Dogs (2017)

In the future, an outbreak of canine flu leads the mayor of a Japanese city to banish all dogs to an island that’s a garbage dump. The outcasts must soon embark on an epic journey when a 12-year-old boy arrives on the island to find his beloved pet.

Multiple acclaimed actors and musicians such as Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Liev Schreiber, Greta Gerwig, Harvey Keitel, Courtney B. Vance, Yoko Ono, Frances McDormand and Yojiro Noda gave their voices.

Wes Anderson is back people and once again with a stop motion animated film. The previous one was Fantastic Mr. Fox and please check it out if you haven’t, it’s really good.

I was sold at Anderson’s name and while I have not seen all of his movies, I have loved every single one that I have watched till now. Now, he is renowned for his remarkably unique framing and use of color and that is very much visible in the trailer as well, so that’s great. As for the plot, it’s very different, something definitely not seen in Hollywood before.

Lastly, coming to the cast, I love them all so much. What I specifically admire is the diversity of the voice actors, something that is very important for the movie and the industry. I’m eagerly waiting for this one!

3. Breathe (2017)

After contracting polio at the age of 28, Robin Cavendish is confined to a bed and given only months to live. With help from his family and inventor Teddy Hall, Cavendish devotes the rest of his life to help fellow patients and the disabled.

Starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy in the lead roles.

Andrew Garfield is back with another biopic, this time teaming up with Andy Serkis and admittedly, when I first saw the trailer, I wasn’t interested in it cause it felt a little cliche in the style of making, maybe it was just the way the trailer was edited. But anyways, after reading the early reviews, I am pretty intrigued and am genuinely looking forward to seeing it.

Things I Can't - Troubled Boys

I am in love with almost everything about troubled boy characters.

The feels are immediate and overwhelming. I don’t know what it is.

I don’t want to change them or save them. I just want them.

Prepare yourselves ladies and gentlemen. Here we go.

Take a breath. Breath. Slow deep breaths. It is going to be okay.

Hey there! Here’s my personal dreamcast for the next gen:

Aaron Taylor-Johnson as James Sirius Potter.

Luca Hollestelle as Lily Luna Potter.

Ebba Zingmark as Rose Weasley.

Tijn Elbers as Hugo Alastor Weasley.

Lindsay Hansen as Molly Weasley II.

Georgie Henley as Lucy Weasley.

Dianna Agron as Victoire Weasley.

Have Some Pet Headcanons for the Gotham Rogues
  • Even though Ivy only has plants, every rogue treats them like pets
  • Jon sometimes talks to Ivy’s plants and Ivy has videotaped it because she thinks it’s cute.
  • Jon, Garfield, Ivy, and Selina have a pet-sitting pact that if one of them is out while the others are in Arkham they have to take care of the other’s pets.  If two or three people are out they draw straws.
    • Batman is in on this pact and pet-sits for them when they’re all in Arkham, he also checks on everyone’s pets regularly because he likes them.
  • Jon’s crow Craw is a licensed service animal because of how often Jon dissociates and has panic attacks.
  • Garfield has a newfoundland named Rusty and a leonberger named Roman and they are both licensed therapy dogs
    • Rusty and Roman have made surprise visits to Arkham for approved patients (the ones that won’t kill animals)
    • There are entire days spent with at least 5 rogues lying in a cuddle pile around these dogs.
  • Garfield also has a Saint Bernard puppy named Theresa that he’s training to be a therapy dog.
  • On top of Craw, Jon also has three cats, a Maine Coon kitten named Dullahan, a very fat calico named Katrina, and a very, very big Norwegian forest cat named Bones.
  • Selina has a lot of unnamed strays that wander in but she owns two cats and their litter of kittens, the cats are named Marie and Antoine and the kittens are all named after presidents.
  • All of Ivy’s plants have names.
    • Jon is one of the few people who knows all of their names and refers to them as such, Ivy still doesn’t like him much.
  • Selina sends people videos and snapchats of her messing with cats, sometimes the ones belonging to the rogue she sends them to.  She also has a popular vine account where she does this.
  • Jon has ended up in the batcave at least six times because Dullahan or Bones got out
    • Damian really likes Bones, he wants to keep Bones.
  • Ed has one cat, a tabby named Puzzles.
