Manufactured Landscapes is probably one of my favorite movies now. I really liked how to represented urban landscapes and wastelands in a neutral way. It didn’t try to preach that industry is a terrible thing, but it also didn’t try to glamorize it. The film left it up to the viewer to decide whether or not it was a negative or positive thing.
EDIT: A couple days later I found these fantastic images of apartment buildings in Hong Kong. The photographer (who’s name I couldn’t find) photographs buildings without showing the top or bottom them, giving them the illusion of being endless.
