editing now because i didnt last night

This week in: Another author didn’t do their research about horses and apparently no one believes in checking that stuff during editing??!

“…she stroked a hand down her chestnut mare’s night-black mane.”

This is literally genetically impossible in horses!! Chestnut horses don’t have black on them. Now, to be fair, technically you could get a bay horse with a black mane and a reddish body. So if you just changed it to red-brown it would be fine, but it would not be called a chestnut. Like…. such a simple fix…..

Happy Birthday Annie!
