Slowly getting better at animating things in Photoshop.
statisticaltaters asked about teeth connection in Tai, so I tried to illustrate it with a GIF. I made the neck a little too thick in the arch and then there’s that one frame that dips the text down…, but oh well.
I’ll try to do a Dy one too, the big difference between the teeth structure is how in the Tai the bone curves around to the front of the neck, in the Dy it just keeps running down the spines to the chest and stomach.
The big Vocal Gland is still kind of in the works, but it reaches down the length of the Tai and pulls in air through the vents to simulate “breathing” and has various chord-like tissues that range in lengths and widths to produce the multiple sounds a Tai is capable of, this same gland is also in the Dy form. This gland also works like a Syrinx in birds, producing vibrations on the walls of the organ (which can also create a clicking sound on the bones) and alters tension of membranes and the openings of the vents. However, Tai cannot produce human speech unless mimicking the form of a human or human like creature. Because the Gland is connected to multiple vents (not shown) they can produce many different sounds at once. Puncturing of this gland will cause some problems with making sound, depending on severity will limit the Tai to the sounds it can use but usually it can heal.
I’m pretty proud of this.
Tai belong to me.
