I don’t get how DBSK and Big Bang are around the same age as an international artist like Rihanna (27 years old), debuted around the same time and yet they’re perceived as old grandfathers by the K-pop community. Meanwhile, internationally, people still look at Rihanna as a young artist. K-pop fans need to stop trying to shorten K-pop idols’ career.

Sometimes I really miss second generation kpop. Not only the groups and music, but the way they interacted with each other and fans but also the type of shows and hilarious behavior in them. I really miss DBSK as five with that bond of brotherhood.  SS501 with the constant  bickering of Tom and Jerry. U-Kiss with Kibum and weird Alexander. Hanchul who stole my heart and Kibum of SUJU with his amazing smile. Ah, second generation kpop brought us so many wonderful groups to love, Wonder Girls, B2ST, 2PM, SHINee etc.  I am nostlagic today and wonder if I am the only one who misses this era.  Does anyone miss old style Kpop sometimes or just me?

Jung Yunho: The man who defines the word “IDOL”

These are some of the many reason why Jung Yunho is my ultimate bias, an inspiration, and a beautiful human being

1. HE GAVE 100% OF HIS EARNINGS FOR A MOVIE TO CHILDREN IN NEED

“It was revealed last December that Yunho had donated all of his earnings from his cameo on “Ode to My Father” to the Green Umbrella Child Fund, saying, “I wanted to help every child to be able to grow up with hopes and dreams, even though it’s not much.”

2. SECRETLY VOLUNTEERS AT ORPHANAGES

“Without telling his agency and management staff, he secretly contacted the orphanage and said he wanted to volunteer. The orphanage gladly agreed and said this would be a great opportunity for the orphaned kids to meet and hang out with a famous idol. Yunho and 10 other people, including his father, visited the orphanage on July 18th to do volunteer work. They prepared meals, helped clean, and Yunho himself spent some personal time with the kids. This is a good example for other idols to follow. Even despite being tired from the Tokyo Dome concerts and the concert in Beijing, he took the little downtime he had to volunteer at an orphanage.”

3. HE’S BEEN GIVING OUT SCHOLARSHIPS AND DONATING MONEY AS SOON AS HE POSSIBLY COULD, AS SOON AS HE STARTED MAKING MONEY

It’s been revealed that TVXQ’s Yunho has been sending scholarships to his alma mater for the past seven years. On the debut broadcast of SBS’s “Dalgona (Sweet Hometown Days)”, Yunho appeared as the first guest of the show. The program interviewed his former 3rd year high school teacher, who revealed that Yunho visits his alma mater during his vacation period, and gives scholarships of 3,000,000 won ($2772.64) to five students at Kwangil High School, and to five students from Imgok Middle School. The teacher also revealed that Yunho has been steadily sponsoring his juniors for the past seven years. During the broadcast, the teacher thanked Yunho on behalf of the school, consequently creating a warm atmosphere on the show. Aside from sharing Yunho’s personal stories, this episode will also host an appearance from Yunho’s ulzzang younger sister and his first love.”

4. AGAIN GAVE 100% OF HIS EARNING FOR AN EVENT TO CHARITY

TVXQ’s leader, Yunho, showed his heart of giving as he donated approximately 33,000 USD in assisting the community. On January 24, a representative of SM Entertainment revealed that the singer donated his full earnings from the “2013 Kwang Ju Design Biennial” to Kwangju’s Community Chest of Korea. Having earned 25.3 million won (about 33,000 USD) for his participation in the design exhibition, Yunho had wanted to give the full amount back to the community he had been raised in

5. SECRETLY DONATES SO WE DONT EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH MORE HE’s ACTUALLY DONATED SO FAR

“It was found that TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho donated to the earthquake victims of Haiti while trying not to draw attention to himself.

On the 20th, ‘MBC Newsdesk’ revealed the names of those who participated in the donations to help the Haiti earthquake victims.

'Jung Yunho’, which is also U-Know Yunho’s real name, was seen amidst the names and fans began speculating whether or not this was TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho.

MBC carefully stated, “We’re not supposed to reveal the donor’s identity without his or her consent,” and “U-Know Yunho’s father called in instead, gave his condolences for the people of Haiti and donated 5 million Won (approximately $4,400).”

MBC also stated that, “He told us that the donor wished for us to show the donation under the name Jung Yunho so not to have his identity as a celebrity revealed. We thought that he did not want or need his stage name to be seen with his donation so we put Jung Yunho in the subtitles.”

6. HELPED BUILD AN EDUCATION CENTER IN GHANA AND IS AN AMBASSADOR FOR FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY

The singer and his fans donated money to help build the school, the Yunho Education Center, which will accommodate about 200 students.

The international relief organization Food for the Hungry said Yunho decided to participate in the project after visiting Ghana last March for a charity TV show, “Road for Hope.”

Through the show, Korean celebrities have volunteered in poverty-stricken areas and regions struck by civil war or natural disasters. State-run broadcaster KBS said it raised more than 10 billion won ($9.09 million) last year through the show.

Following Yunho’s appearance on the show, Food for the Hungry appointed Yunho as its honorary ambassador to build the school. The singer’s fan club members also donated money.

7. CREATED A CLUB THAT IS DEDICATED TO CHARITY

TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho Created Our 85 Club Community Service Project

The 85 Club has fifteen members who donate 10,000 Won a month to the club’s leader U-Know Yunho. The money that is collected is then used to help those in need at the end of the year. U-Know Yunho is already famous for being an ‘angel of donation’ and Kim Wooju stated that it was U-Know Yunho who created this project as 10,000 Won is not a burdensome amount to donate every month.

OTHER TIDBITS OF HIS BEAUTIFUL PERSONALITY:

HE WAS POISONED BY AN ANTIFAN AND STILL LET HER GO BECAUSE SHE WAS YOUNGER THAN HIM AND HE UNDERSTOOD WHY SHE COULD BE ANGRY AT HIM

An anti fan gave him a drink spiked with super glue. After drinking it Yunho started coughing up blood, vomiting, passed out and was hospitalized for a few days. He suffered from PTSD for many years after the incident and had a tough time drinking anything people gave him.

"After that incident, I started avoiding people and if I saw any similar place or object as that day, my heart started beating faster, and my body reacted even before my mind could.“, talking about the panic disorder that resulted from the incident.”

Since the girl who poisoned him turned out to be 17-years-old ( his sisters age) Yunho contacted the police and requested that they not press charges against her.

"I was angry at first but the anti-fan told me that she hated seeing me laugh on TV when she was going through hard times, so I realized that I could be a harmful influence on other people.” <— Oh my God, Yunho

[FANACCOUNT] ( cr. Mystaryunho)

[FANACCOUNT]

I didn’t believe Yunho remembered his fans’ faces at first.
How could he remember all those?
However, he did indeed.
During one of the last pre-recording sessions when Yunho had lowered his body, made eye contacts with the fans in the pit, looked at them in a lovely way and said,” I know all the faces here. I just don’t know the names.”, I thought in my mind,’Ai~ really? Isn’t he just saying it to please us?’.

He really remembers fans from last year’s fan sign events.
When waiting in line at the fan sign events, you get to hear all kinds of stories.
One of them was about a fan that had received the autograph on behalf of an aquaintance unni and Yunho had told her he remembered the unni and asked how she was doing…

Seriously, I have never seen any idol like him.ㅠㅠ
I thought, ‘Would he remember someone as nobody as me?’ and he did.
Yunho doesn’t seem to forget faces if he sees them more than twice.
A lot of the times, he even remembers fans after seeing them only once..omg..
How many times have I read fan accounts talking about how Yunho remembered fans after seeing them only once in the past 2 to 3 years?
Mr. Kindness Jung, I really like you. What am I supposed to do?

My life is yours..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
