Because who doesn’t love bedazzled bra tops?! I finally sat down and create an in depth tutorial on how to create your very own ‘rhinestone’ covered bra tops. These bra tops have become a staple piece when attending any electronic music festival or rave.
In the tutorial I go in detail on the difference types of adhesives available for glueing on your rhinestones, as well as providing the best method in which to do so.
Remember, creativity is all up to you. You can use the basics of this tutorial and spin it in anyway way you want. Color schemes, and decorations the limit! Enjoy!
Adhesive (Hot Glue, Fabric Hot Glue, Jewel It, Fabric Fusion, or E6000 Glur) ** Go in depth on all of these glues in the video tutorial.
Watch the video tutorial above for full instructions.

I find a certain kind of balance in making one kandi single design that matches each of my rave outfits. I love holding each bracelet and remembering all the hard work I put into making each experience special and unique, and how, somewhere out there, a select number of people have the exact same bracelet that matches their own memory of me. It’s my signature, and I can’t wait to make new memories with you guys at EDC Las Vegas, HARD Summer, and Mad Decent Block Party: San Diego this summer. Get ready for it, guys! We’re almost there…
Walking around my room every now and then you will most likely step on some sort of bead or string. These beads have a new memory in each of them from the time I was making them, either for a show at a club or for an upcoming music festival. The whole experience of a show or a festival is being able to express who you are as a person, and Kandi is part of that experience. For those of you who do not know what kandi is it is self made personalized beads that ravers wear to raves and festivals to trade AKA PLUR. (Peach. Love. Unity. Respect.)
I will never forget when I made my first kandi for my first music festival for SMF in 2012. I remember a girl came up to me and asked me if I wanted to PLUR and I refused because it was my very first kandi I made and I wanted to always keep it. I saw her face and she totally respected my decision. At that moment I understand the true meaning of trading and kandi. How just one bracelet can mean so much to an individual. The amount of stories I have shared and heard from multiple strangers during raves is just incredible. I remember at EDC Orlando 2013 I introduced kandi to this couple, whose first rave was EDC Orlando 2013, and their faces just lit up with excitement. I have been told I have changed ravers lives before while trading.
Banning Kandi from shows is like banning the meaning of what the EDM culture is all about. Expressing who you are and what you love to do. Now I am not a kandi junkie where both my arms will be filled to the top, or have a kandi mask on, but you best believe before a major show or festival the night before I am cranking up my soundclouds and making some kandi to trade and hear some unique stories from people all over the world. It is an unforgettable experience and I think each person should try it out once. If you don’t like it then just go back to jumping up and down and shuffling your ass off. No harm no foul. I know one thing for sure you will always catch me trading kandi and sharing stories at shows.
So as much as I love Diplo and his music I think his view on kandi and banning it from his shows is a very cheap move and slap in the face to his fans. In the end he has a right to his opinion so I respect his honestly, however to ban kandi from his shows is just a bit extreme if you ask me. Hell if I was a DJ I would feel pretty damn honored that fans were making specific kandi with my name and lyrics from my songs on them. There is no better feeling then on the car ride back from a show reading all the new kandi you picked up and sharing the stories with your friends. #LongliveKandi
One of my best friends trading kandi with a cop at last years EDC Orlando. Even the cops at music festivals understands the culture and bring good vibes too.
This one is an outlier guys. lil bit ofJustin, lil bit of Luke, some tasteful Avicii.
Aloha guys, its been awhile since I put a mix up and i’m sorry about that, college life can be hectic but I managed to make this in ONE sitting. I feel really good about this and it’s quite different that my other mixes. I think it’ll put you on a good type of way regardless if you’re working out, driving, studying for midterms, chillin’, whatever you’re doing.
Thanks to my friend Danes for giving me my opening song!
I appreciate your support!
Please listen, reblog and enjoy! <3
