My weekend was amazing and the food I ate was not. But hey. That’s over now. And yes. It is weigh in tomorrow and hell-no am I expecting a loss. It’ll be a gain and i’ll be sad. And I’ll be mad. But hey. This is a life style change! Not a diet, not a quick fix.
And am I realistically going to eat under 1400 calories each weekend for the rest of my life? No.
Am I going to give up chips for the rest of my life? No.
Am I going to exercise every weekend for the rest of my life?
Am I going to pig out with my partner, friends and family everynow and again? Hell-to-the-yes.
This is a lifestyle change.
My weight loss will not occur over a 48 hour period. Neither will all the progress I have made this year be destroyed in 48 hours.
Yes I have chips twice this weekend. Yes I had 3 takeaways. I am over it.
I have planned my meals for the next week, scheduled in my regular workouts. I am not going hit the gym 5 extra times, I am not going to run an extra 5 miles a day (not that I could). You can’t out run a bad diet and I am not trying.
This weekend was glorious. And bloody tasty.
And its over.
