my notes on ao3 are super rambly and emotional, so i will not repeat them here! in short: i worked /really/ hard on this chapter, and i’m scared as hell to post it. thanks to @goingtothetardis​ and @aroseofstone​ for the betas.
summary: as the doctor and rose traverse time and space looking for adventure, they slowly fall victim to a mysterious energy that can manipulate their emotions. though confused and unnerved by the cerebral affliction, neither of them understands its cause, or realizes that it could jeopardize their friendship. what will it take for them to discover the truth?

Meal planning

Step one to figuring out a meal plan that will undoubtedly give you great results is to find a protein supplement that has: both slow and fast digesting proteins, probiotics (to speed up absorption), fiber, and lean fats.

Don’t get me wrong you still need your whey isolate it’s just best for  post-workout and to make muscle recovery speed up. (The protein supplement above is better for snacks and to curb hunger between meals, both are essential parts to a winning plan.)

Step two to figuring out a meal plan is to separate your acceptable diet food into categories:

Protein (Meat);

  Chicken - Doesn’t matter weather fresh or frozen, with bones or without chicken is a great source of lean protein.  Be it chicken breast, chicken tenderloins, ground chicken, or even rotisserie chicken as long as it doesn’t have the skin you’re golden.

  Beef - Lean cuts are the most important part to having beef in your diet sirloin steak, round, and flank steak are the leanest cuts.  If you eat ground beef make sure it’s either ground sirloin or it is labeled at least (90% lean)

  Fish - Tuna, Salmon, Cod, Tilapia, and Snapper are all great choices of lean fish that offer a tasty alternative way to get your protein in your diet. (Just like the chicken it doesn’t matter weather its fresh fish or has been frozen.)

  Turkey - (not my personal favorite but some swear by it) ground Turkey breast (90% lean or leaner) can make a great addition to ones diet.

Lean fats;

  Nut butter (Cashew, Almond, and Peanut), Oils (Olive, Flaxseed, and Safflower), Vinaigrette dressings, and Nuts are all great sources for your lean fats you need in your diet.


  Carbohydrates (Carbs) aren’t always bad (they’re actually great) they’re the part of your diet that gives you long term sustained energy.

Good sources of carbohydrates are;  Potatoes (sweet potatoes, red potatoes, and white potatoes), Rice (Brown rice), Oatmeal, and beans.


  Apples, Berries, cantaloupe, oranges, peaches, pears, pineapples, and bananas are all great ways to incorporate fruit into your diet.  (It’s always going to be better to eat your fruit fresh.)


  Lettuce, Spinach, Celery, cucumbers, onions, peppers (all bell peppers), summer squash, and tomatoes.

Remember when creating a meal plan be sure to incorporate foods from each category every day, and always be sure to include just one cheat day ;).
