What i’m going to bring to our easter breakfast today: a yeast spelt bread filled with dark chocolate spread 😍 trust me, it’s save that i eat half the bread and 6 breadrolls because breakfast with fresh baked goods always means an escalation for me 😳 🙊
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
(¼ cup raisins)
(1 tsp cinnamon)
(½ tsp nutmeg)
1 ½ cups applesauce
1 cup shredded carrots (about 1 large)
Preheat oven to 350F (180 celsius). Simply mix all the wet and all of the dry ingredients separately and then combine them.
Fill into cupcake molds and bake for 20min or until toothpick comes out clean.
Decorate with whatever you want. I used lemon-icing and coloured coconut with lil marzipan-carrots.
