My little ugly delicious macarons! The cookies are lavender earl-grey, and the filling is a coconut cardamom cream. I used this recipe for the base, and just switched out chai tea for lavender and earl grey, as well as cinnamon in the filling for cardamom: http://thesimple-sweetlife.com/2014/08/17/chai-tea-macarons/ . I think they would have been better if I had been able to get the egg whites to form a merengue, but I’m pretty sure that it’s just too damn hot here for that. What they lack in looks, they make up for in taste! Thanks for posting all of these wonderful recipes and inspiring me to get creative. -Allie
