The Eagle of the French 45th Line Infantry Regiment captured by Sergeant Charles Ewart of the 2nd or Royal North British Dragoons, also known as the Scots Greys.

As seen during the ‘Waterloo: After the Battle’ exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland, which ran from the 15th of May 2015 - 27th September 2015.

The Eagle is now back on display in Gallery 2 of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Regimental Museum in Edinburgh Castle.
