Dzhokhar Anzorovich “Jahar” Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan Anzorovich Tsarnaev planted two homemade bombs which detonated 12 seconds and 210 yard apart at 2:49 p.m. at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, killing three (3) people and injuring approximately 280 people, sixteen (16) of the injured lost limbs.

A few days after the bombing on April 18, 2013 the FBI released the images of Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan, the brothers killed an MIT officer before hijacking a man’s car and kidnapping him. The man later escaped when the brothers had stopped at a gas station to get food. After, the brothers sent in a panic after the kidnapping victim had escaped, stole another car and headed down neighborhood roads before having a shootout with police in Watertown, severely injuring two officers and the older brother Tamerlan. Tamerlan was shot multiple times before Dzhokhar took one of the stolen vehicles and ran him over in effort to escape. Tamerlan died sometime after.

On April 19, 2013 Dzhokhar was wanted, the residents of Watertown and surrounding cities were put on lock-down and told to stay inside until Dzhokhar was found. At approximately 6:00 p.m. a Watertown resident discovered Dzhokhar hiding in a boat in his backyard.

Dzhokhar then was shot through the boat by police and arrested.

People are acting like the Boston Bomber Rolling Stone cover is the first time print media has ever had a “controversial” cover.

-Newsweek had extensive coverage of WWII, and had many Axis-centered covers. Y'all still bought issues.

-Kanye as Jesus on Rolling Stone ring a bell? That was 7 years ago. Y'all still bought issues.

-Seeing as ‘Merica hates gays, you’d think they wouldn’t support Time magazine after Ellen came out to them… '97. Remember 58 years earlier? No? Here ya go:

-Time Magazine had HITLER as 'Man of the Year’ in 1939. Again, pretty sure they’ve got a solid customer base after all these years.

-Seeing as 'Merica “hates” anything not white: October 1971, the first African-American woman, Jennifer Jackson, is on the cover of Playboy. UR 'BATIN’.

-America loves their religion, and people got pissed at WIRED when they put the crown of thorns around the Apple logo. WIRED still exists, and even the Almighty Westboro use smartphones.

Vogue, Vanity Fair, Esquire, and so many others have done this over the years, and will continue to do so.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is: –Shut.The.Actual.Fuck.Up.– This is nothing new.
