dynomite,

IT’S THAT TIME!! DYNO Mite is officially available for preorder and to celebrate how about a FREE giveaway??

‘like’ this on Instagram or 'reblog’ this on tumblr to be entered! One lucky winner on both sites will be chosen by random.org for a CREWNECK sweater. Contest ends at 10pm tonight so get your like or reblog in now.

Now as for the details on the design, I wanted to come up with a DYNO-mite design ever since #BIGSEAN said 'cause your burning up, your outfit is DYNO’ (for those that been following I gave him a DYNO CREWNECK in person before he hit mainstream). I kept putting the idea off until my birthday was coming up. I wanted something Brand new to wear and possibly one of my best designs yet. So this design was the outcome out of it.

As for availability, gear is available in charcoal grey, black, or red and can be silkscreened on tees(youth, women, and adult) as well as crewneck sweaters(youth & adult). ALSO, for the first week ONLY, a limited purple colorway is available for preorder! So with that many choices you can’t go wrong. To order, simply email me your name, tee or sweater, color, and size to DYNOisthename@gmail.com .

Tees are $20 and sweaters are $40.

Orders will be worked on in the order I receive them. And obviously if you win the contest you pay nothing at all! Thanks again everyone for supporting & following AND good luck! (Taken with instagram)

Also, to make things fair, only up to 3 reblogs per person!! :)

Also met up w/ @versatileng at JBHS for his ‘Golden’ DYNO-mite crewneck sweater. Wasn’t too long that I saw him before this either since he got on the black Friday sale awhile back too! Thanks again Randall! For everyone else, just a reminder that 'Golden’ (gold on black) gear in 3 designs will stop being made after this month so act fast! Also later today I’ll be announcing a deadline to order gear that isn’t on stock to get to you before Xmas. But it’s coming soon! #dyno #dynomite #golden #limited #sale (Taken with Instagram at Jesse Bethel High School Parking Lot S Wing)

Jimmie Walker got his start performing comedy in small clubs, and ultimately became a 1970s icon playing J.J. Evans on Good Times.

Walker will be talking about his memoir at the National Archives on Friday, May 3, at noon.

He was the first successful young black sitcom star, and his catchphrase—“Dyn-o-mite!”—remains an indicator of the era. In Dynomite!, Walker talks candidly about his rise and the tensions on the set of Good Times that contradict the show’s image of a close-knit blue-collar family.

A book signing will follow the program.
