under the cut you will find, #177 faceclaims that can pass realistically as high schoolers and/or college students. i made this list because of three reasons: a) most of the lists i found were old and at least a good few years old so the ages are largely inaccurate b) and hence there have been more and more child stars that i feel that need to be added to this list c) and it’s about time we stopped playing ian, milo, holland, crystal, jack etc as high schoolers because let’s be honest rpc, they can’t. i love them too but let’s be real about their ages. most of them should have resources made already but almost all of them have videos etc that you can make resources out of.

please like/reblog if you found this helpful and if you have any more suggestions, feel free to message me! also i tried to keep the really overused fcs out of here but you’ll find a mix of underused, overused and neither fcs here.

Interview with Joy Again

In order, bottom: Sachi, Blaise, Logan; top: Arthur, Sean

In mid-November I traveled to Philli with one of my best friends to see our latest obsession, Shamir.  We didn’t realize we were going to a church and we definitely didn’t realize we were going to a DIY show.  But as we walked in a teen band called Joy Again was playing.  Their music was fun and upbeat.  Now, a few months later I got the chance to talk to Sachi one of the five members of Joy Again.  Check it out!

How did you all meet? Where are you guys from?

Arthur and I (Sachi) met over facebook and started playing music together. We had a few different bands that ended up settling into Joy Again as it currently is. An ex of mine introduced me to Blaise, who introduced us to Logan. Arthur and I were taking trips to NYC and we met Sean there at the silent barn and he became the drummer.

Who are your musical influences?

How did you come up with the name Joy Again?

Arthur and I’s first band was named “Joy Kolicious” after the first girl Arthur ever had a crush on. After about a week of having this name she found out and got really mad at us and made us change it. We eventually became Forever Lesbians and after about a year of having the name Forever Lesbians we decided we should change it. While we were all talking about it someone said “We should just be Joy Again”, referring to Joy Kolicious but we all agreed that we should just actually be “Joy Again”.

How did Shamir become your manager? How has that been, has he helped to broaden your audience?

Shamir found our music through a tape label called Little L Records. He added us all on facebook and we all talked and then met in Philadelphia at a show we played. Shortly afterward he got signed to XL and asked to be our manager to help us become more successful. It’s been great! Shamir is super supportive and has helped us so much and we’re so lucky to have one of our best friends play such a huge role in everything we do. He’s definitely helped broaden our audience.

Who does what in the band?

Arthur, Logan, and I write all the music; Arthur, Blaise, and I play bass and guitar; Logan plays keys; Sean plays drums.

What are your hopes for the new year?

We just hope to play a lot and make a lot of nice cool friends.
