…and through foggy Brisbane town, the sun was shinning everywhere…..
I got up yesterday to Brisbane shrouded in thick fog so took a walk down to Sth Bank to hopefully capture some shots of Brisbane city. The fog just hung around for ages and offered some great images with quite the surreal feel to them. I particularly like how the sun cast a shadow from the buildings onto the foggy sky. Enjoy.
On Thursday this week I was doing some more work for St Vincents Hospital in Brisbane and we started the day very early to get some sunrise shots from the hospital roof. For those who don’t know, St Vincents hospital is on some of the most incredible land in Brisbane with panoramic views over the river towards the CBD.
We were blessed with a beautiful morning and took a range of images showing the hospital and it’s amazing views. The first one is before the sun has come up and includes the wonderful Story Bridge. The second is after sunrise when the sun is shinning and reflecting off the buildings.
Actions shots of yours truly are from Josh Williams (on my camera phone) who was assisting me on the day.
Recently I posted some pictures from the work I’ve been doing with St Vincents Health and Aged Care. This latest group of photos is from the Toowoomba hospital. We spent a very busy day up there last month and captured all facets of hospital life with plenty of the people who are the heart and soul of the place.
I have plenty of favourites but really love the shot of father and daughter in the waiting room bathed in afternoon sunshine. I will be posting some from our other shoots shortly. Enjoy.
