London-based artist Elaine Duigenan’s painstakingly crafted “Blossfeldt’s Apprentice” is a series of twist-tie creations and is named for German artist Karl Blossfeldt, whose renderings of plant-life in the 1920s inspired this series. Blossfeldt famously said, “the plant must be valued as a totally artistic and architectural structure.”
