dubstep producer

Dj Snake’s earth shaking, Justin Bieber featuring smash hit Let Me Love You has been the subject of much remixing as of late by production heavy weights all around, but it’s another big leaguer, Zedd, who offers up one of the most intriguing takes to date. The producer drops an ear perking, eye widening remix that alternates between swanky smooth, snazzy elegant flourishes and sudsy playful, video game quirky dubstep mania. And it all ends with an angelic chorale outburst that lifts us skywards to the heavens.

The Chainsmokers and Illenium? You’ve got to be kidding me! But these fellas don’t joke around, as we all know, and an Illenium remix of The Chainsmokers’ Don’t Let Me Down is sure to tickle your ears plentifully with its mellifluous melodic dubstep brilliance. Lest you forgot, fast rising pop talent Daya turns in the riveting vocals on the song (and I just heard her while shopping at the mall the other day, always a mark of sure success). Daya and The Chainsmokers take on a new coat of majestic stateliness on the Denver based producer’s breathtaking remix.

I must have totally missed the memo on some scintillating remixes of Vaults’ latest single Hurricane last month. It’s fortunate that the Londoners recently released a magnificent video for Hurricane, the latest single from their stellar debut album, otherwise it may have taken me far longer to encounter said edits. My preparations for that video post lead me to this mind blowing remix of Hurricane by English producer Feed Me. I knew it had to be something special, I mean, it’s not everyday you get Vaults and Feed Me rolled up in one. Feed Me takes full advantage of the original’s majestic splendor and Blythe’s powerfully captivating voice on a sweeping display of his expertise in dubstep, trap, and electro. This Feed Me hurricane is an eruption of earth shaking grandeur. You can stream the remix off Soundcloud below. Visit Vaults’ Soundcloud to preview more Hurricane remixes.

I’ve briefly hopped onto IHM this morning in order to finish sharing the last few picks from our current set of meticulously curated features, but I find that I must break protocol, something I almost never do. You see, something emerged an hour ago that requires immediate attention: a remix of Flume by ILLENIUM. The Colorado based producer has finally unleashed his remix of Harley Streten’s Say It, which of course features Tove Lo’s spunky sweet vocals. My excitement has been growing for this treat in the past months. ILLENIUM teased us with the remix all summer long, and the track has also been an adored highlight during his sold out live sets. One listen and it’ll be more than obvious why. ILLENIUM brings a dynamic blend of future bass and melodic dubstep to Say It, layering Tove Lo’s gorgeous voice over a dramatic soundscape that takes us on exhilarating skyscraper climbs and cathartic canyon drops. Though beautifully effervescent and breathtaking enchanting, ILLENIUM’s interpretation of Say It is also brutally powerful. Don’t be surprised if it leaves you reeling after its last notes fade away.

I must say, it’s pretty cool that Crywolf is releasing an acoustic EP, considering the atmospheric melodic dubstep music the producer from Los Angeles usually thrills us with. Acoustic EP: Volume One will be out April 29th, and Crywolf has dropped the first single, a tender, stripped down rendition of Runaway. The beautiful, heart melting song sheds new light on Crywolf’s versatility and song writing capabilities. Lush orchestration gives the track a grand magnificence, despite its intimate wistfulness.

The moment I saw this surface I knew, this one was going to be huge. First of all, it’s brand new Adventure Club. Second of all, it’s an Adventure Club remix of NYC electropop duo MS MR’s beloved hit Hurricane. I think that’s way more than enough reason to rejoice, isn’t it? Adventure Club gives Hurricane that signature AV cinematic and melodic atmosphere, with lulling, cathartic build ups and spacious, crisp drum work. Throw in those subtle melodic dubstep wobbles, accompanied by Lizzy’s baroque, rousing voice, and we have a spiritual experience brewing.
