(Here’s the last one because the original gif wouldn’t play on here for some reason)
For my final project I decided to animate book covers. These are the books I used: • Cockroach by Rawi Hage • The Girl Who Fell From The Sky by Heidi W. Durrow • Go Tell It On The Mountain by James Baldwin • From Polaroid To Impossible by Hatje Cantz • Grin by Adam Danielski • A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess • The Godfather by Mario Puzo • Vampire Academy – Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead • The Chronicles Of Vladimir Tod by Heather Brewer • The Widow’s Redeemer by Philippa Jane Keyworth I wanted to do animation again because I liked the second project I worked on where I got old paintings to move. I decided to use book covers this time because I felt they’d give me more content to animate with. I created the animations in the same way as I did the last time. I used multiple layers, placing the sections I wanted to move on different layers than the main picture. I had things disappear and reappear by either using the opacity function or by slowly dragging them onto the screen.
