Spoiled teenager who killed four spared jail after lawyer argues ‘affluenza’ to blame for drunk driving

A rich teenager in Texas who killed four people while driving under the influence of drugs and drink got a slap on the wrist after his lawyers argued he was the victim of “affluenza.”

Ethan Couch received 10 years probation — rather than the possible 20-year jail term he faced as a result of his irresponsible actions.

His lawyers said the 16-year-old had been so spoiled by his doting and affluent parents he had no idea of the consequence of his actions or the concept of taking responsibility for what he did. (AP Photo/The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Paul Moseley)

Just let me post this here for the idiots who believe in #drinkanddriveforbieber

Do you even know how many lives you can endanger doing that? And not everyone dies. You could ruin someone’s life. Case in point in the picture. We learned about this girl in drivers ed.

And not only that, if you do kill someone, you would never live with the guilt. Even if it’s for your stupid precious idol.

There’s a difference between liking someone and obsessing over them so much that you’re willing to endanger the lives of others.

Please don’t be stupid for someone like him.
