I’ve been spending the last few weeks looking for a new studio space for Stepworks Media in Lexington. This building is called the Pepper Distillery. It was built in the 1930s and housed whiskey barrels in 200,000 SF of cement and brick. It is now used as a storage facility as the owners are beginning renovation discussions.
It was still a bit early in renovations for our purposes, but man… what a cool space.
I haven’t updated the Challenge in a while - life get’s busy. But, I have been taking a bunch of new photographs, so hopefully I’ll find some time this weekend to upload some new pictures. This one is from a photo shoot I did with a good friend, Dustin Downey.
This weekend my father turned 48 and my father-in-law turned 50. We celebrate my Dad’s birthday later this week, but yesterday we took my father-in-law Vernon to Red River Gorge to hike the Courthouse Rock Trail. Pretty fit for 50! (5D MKII, Canon 50mm f/1.4)
