drawin' things

I will say, hands are some of the hardest things to grasp when learning how to draw! Even people who have been drawing for years can be intimidated by these lil appendages! My methods for drawing them might be a bit weird, but I’m happy to share some of the things I try and keep in mind while trying to capture the essence of The Hand

I hope some people can find this useful! I could probably have gone on and on about drawing hands in this post but it’s already long enough-

And they were unnaturally still, not quite troll and not quite serpent, though it seemed as if fire throbbed through the veins of the devotee wherever the familiar brushed against her skin.

animation is a messy business

About the HomeSick comic: On the pictures Papyrus sent, the humans are just silhouettes (great observasion skills I have, yes). Maybe you just did that, cause they're not important characters, oooor... you did that, cause we saw things from Sans perspective. For him, those humans are not important, he only care about his bro, cause he miss him a lot, and thus he's the only one he can think of right now. So, he only sees Papyrus, the only important thing. (I wanna beleive in this.)

I’m very happy you noticed that tbh - because yes, this is from Sans’ perspective. And for him, those humans don’t matter much, he doesn’t know them, and at this point, he doesn’t want to.
