Dr. Sam Loomis: I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes… the devil’s eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil.

for my final card this year I decided on…

Dr. Samuel Loomis from Halloween 2 (1981)

“you dont know what death is!"

I’ve always enjoyed the fact that Halloween 2 picks up immediately following the events of the first film. The creepy atmosphere of the nearly vacant hospital is so well done and Myers himself is incredibly scary, often times lingering in the backgrounds of long shots.

the influence of 80’s  and 81’s friday the 13th series is pretty apparent in the body count and the grisly manner the victims are dispatched, but remains in my honest opinion  the only good halloween sequel.

With that Stock*tober comes to an end for me. I get to sit back and relax and see what everyone else comes up with to finish the month.
