Saw a man refusing to let his pregnant wife off the porch because he “saw a rat the size of a dog and I will NOT let it bite you, please go back inside darling”. Made me wonder how protective the Maheswaran’s were of their baby.
I have finally rewatched this amazing musical and this is just a perfect crossover for these two, okay?

(Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog – I Cannot Believe My Eyes)
Happy Tuesday dear everlarkers! Last week’s installment of Mockingjay Manor concluded with a drugged and injured Everlark finding themselves whisked away from the terrifying Doctor Snow and hidden in a secret room by an unknown rescuer. You voted to put their trust in this unidentified saviour. What happens next? Let’s check in with the incredible @mega-aulover to find out….
A note, friends, that this chapter is rated M for canon-typical violence and begged-for sexual content.
As always, you have 48 hours, until noon EDT on Thursday, October 12th, to cast you votes in the notes or reblogs, not in the tags!!!
I crumple the note in my fist and toss it on the floor and the syringe I’d hidden in my sleeve drops onto the carpet and rolls away. The warning to stay put doesn’t sit well with me. I’m pissed off, angry at this man, Snow, and his tricks. The stupid portrait looms over me, mocking me. We’ve been attacked, stung by some experimental wasps, and threatened. He will not get away with this.
Peeta groans and my plans for vengeance fly from my mind. I kneel at his side and gently check his stings. “Are you okay?”
Can you pls simplify the post you just made... I have no idea what it says or what it means for Zoos😊 sorry to bother, and thanks!
I did promise to put tl;drs on posts and forgot on the one about the HSUS keynote at AZA, so yes, of course.
Tl;dr: Brand new AZA president invites long time sportsball buddy animal rights organization CEO to talk at the biggest zoo conference in the United States. Zoo people have questions, zoo trade group says nothing to answer them, tells people to just wait and see.
At conference, animal rights CEO does not actually talk about what he’s supposed to (animal welfare) and instead lists off a bunch of things his organization is attacking and then tells the zoo conference attendees that if they’re actually animal welfare experts they need to cannibalize the rest of the zoo industry (implied: maybe if they don’t they’re not experts and will get attacked too). Totally doesn’t acknowledge that he’s telling people to attack peers, mentors, collaborators, people helping attendees of the conference with hurricane response, and even other attendees of the conference. CEO leaves and writes an even more aggressive blog post about how much the whole room loved him and what the future will be. AZA continues to say nothing and lets him control the narrative even though a non-trivial number of conference attendees were really upset by the speech.
What it means for zoos? Politics and posturing just got very real, and the professionals who actually know what helps animals don’t really seem to have a say in the choices the trade organization that is supposed to advocate for them is making. A lot of people are very upset and there’s a lot of unknowns about if zoos are going to be expected to start attacking each other to avoid being targeted by animal rights groups themselves.
This is clearly a Joseph stanning blog, why is ur url craig-chan??
Honestly? I’m stuck with it at this point. I’m just. Tumblr user craig-cahn. As much as I’d like to change it to one of the 72-ish Joseph URLs I have saved, it’s too much of a part of me. This blog wouldn’t be the same if it was @joseph-christiansin or @hoseph-christiansen.
please please please tell me what are some good sheet masks 😩im really trying to get into skincare thanks to your blog and i want to start with some good masks lmao. i have oily/combination skin btw
Hi! Thanks for the ask! My experience is only with Asian sheet masks (i.e. Korean and Taiwanese), so I can’t speak for Western brands. I tried to recommend masks that I think can work for oily/combo skin, but my skin type is very dry so I think it’s best to try out different brands/masks and see what works for you! I also want to mention that if you’re getting into sheet masks, you should know that they pretty much are all moisturizing. There are sheet masks that are meant to treat certain issues e.g. brightening, anti-aging, or soothing irritated skin for example, but the majority of sheet masks will be moisturizing (a little bit too moisturizing sometimes).
Sheet Mask Sets/General Brand Recommendations
My Beauty Diary (x): This brand of masks are very well-known in the Asian beauty world. It’s a Taiwanese brand, and is more easily available in countries outside of Asia, so it’s a good starting place. I personally like the hyaluronic acid (x) and black pearl (x) masks the most (I’ve been using the black pearl mask for years and I love it!), but I heard the other types are good too. The black pearl masks have the thickest essence and you probably only want to use them at night, but still isn’t too thick as to clog pores. All of the other masks are light enough that you can use them in the daytime before makeup (Note: Admin A would recommend MBD hyaluronic acid as well).
Innisfree Skin Clinic (x): The madecassoside mask (x) in this set is very well-known for being a good soothing and moisturizing mask, and is one of my favorite masks. It’s good for when I just want to do a sheet mask and I know it will hydrate my skin and won’t irritate it. I haven’t tried the other masks in the set, but again overall I think this would be a good set to try to see what ingredients work best for your skin type. Also, Innisfree masks aren’t too ‘heavy’ (good for oily/combo and makeup prep) and they’re fairly affordable.
Dr. Jart (x): This would be my brand recommendation if you wanted to try a more expensive brand or cannot access the other brands. Dr. Jart is easily found online and is sold at Sephora. I think Dr. Jart is good for treatment masks and certain ingredients (like ceramidin), but personally I think other cheaper brands are just as good if not better. In my experience, the formula of Dr. Jart masks tend to be ‘heavier’ than Innisfree or MBD, so that might be something to watch out for as well. I would only use them at night.
Specific Sheet Mask Recommendations
Mediheal Teatree Care Solution Essential Mask (x): I have personally used this mask in the past when I’ve had blemishes, and this mask is really good as a treatment and calms down the skin. I also have introduced this to friends who struggle with oil-control and acne and they said it has helped them with controlling sebum and calming down their skin as well. I would highly recommend this mask if you want a mask which helps with sebum and blemishes.
