Another thing that makes me extremely sad and angry is that no matter which role Sam tries to play within his own family, he cannot win.
Sam rebels against John because he doesn’t want to keep hunting forever, he wants a better future and a safe life? He is selfish and he should listen to Dean. Sam tries to make excuses for Mary’s behavior (Dean did the same with John tbh) and tries to keep peace (clumsily) between his mom and his brother? He is naive and he should listen to Dean.
Sam is always shown to be in the wrong dynamic and I’m sick of that, I’m sick of the narrative always being biased against him, I’m sick of seeing Sam being punished for trying to fit into in own family.

Author’s Notes: Thank you @mamapeterson for the advice and being my always awesome beta. I wrote this because my brain needed a break from the plot driven piece I’m working on, so I hope you guys enjoy some gratuitous smut. Let’s just put it out there that this is going to be one seriously cold shower by they time they’re done, I know that. Suspend your disbelief and pretend it’s a never ending hot shower. :-)
It’s interesting how Dean turned into an ACTUAL DEMON and never faced a second of hate.
Not that I wanted him to, but it’s an interesting juxtaposition.
The show literally spent the first 5 years of its existence building up, and yes, in a sense villifying Sam because he was poised to be the Boy King or Lucifer’s vessel. His own father’s dying wish was for Dean to kill Sam if he turned evil.
Sam and Dean were literally killed for Sam’s demon blood addiction in “Dark Side Of The Moon.” He stopped the apocalypse, and was paying the price for his well-intended mistakes as late as season 9′s “Devil May Care.” Even now, Sam is “famous” for his connection to the devil. However, he never actually became a demon or even evil.
Dean, however, died an actually became a demon. There’s footage of him with black eyes. He gruesomely attacked and killed people (they were *bad* but still), and was poised to become a Knight of Hell, one of the most deadly creatures to walk the Earth…and yet, he’s still regarded by the show and the hunting community as a hero. No one has ever bullied, attacked or faced an instant of backlash for what he did as an actual demon. Once he was cured, it was back to work as usual.
I find that quite interesting. One of the biggest letdowns of the Mark Of Cain arc was the missed opportunity for Dean to finally realize how strong Sam was fighting through his demon blood addiction and through his powers, and to see what it was like to be crucified for something out of your control.
✘ Summary: Sebastian sees his ex girlfriend (the person he’s still in love with, by the way) dating a New Directions’s guy, Sam Evans. Of course, Sebastian is going to get his girl back, after all, she’s his girl. She always was and always will be. And he’s hers. Which doesn’t mean they’ll be back at the first look.
Sebastian couldn’t believe in his own eyes. You were here. Beautiful as always, he added to himself in thought.
Sebastian was not the kind of guy who got nervous easily. After all, he was a confident guy with a cocky attitude, what could make him really nervous?
You, (Y/N) (Y/L/N) could.
Well, that would, probably, be a completely normal reaction, since you were the only girl who he ever had a relationship with and who he fell in love with. His others, and few (Sebastian was always more like the One Night Stand guy), relationships were with men. And none, ever, made him feel like you did.
That did not mean you two were perfect. Arguments, jealousy, it all happened. But you both always managed to make it out somehow. Because, at the end of the day, you loved each other. And that was more than enough.
But you broke up. Your father was transferred to Vancouver and you waited until the day of your flight to tell Sebastian. You knew it was wrong and selfish, but you could not bear to have to tell him before. So, obviously, there’s a fight. And Sebastian did not even go to the airport.
Actually, that’s what you thought. His anger, sadness and frustration had not passed, of course, but it was the last time Sebastian would see the girl he loved in God knows how long. He needed every second with you.
But he wasn’t fast enough.
Sebastian just arrived in time to see your plane taking off, tears struck his emerald eyes as he felt a pain he had never felt before, even though the younger Smythe had worse break ups, but this one was killing him inside. You were the love of his life, Sebastian knew it.
And now you had left.
Sebastian cocked his head to the ground, unable to look at the sky for another millisecond. And as a tear fell quietly from his eyes, the box he was holding also fell.
But now you were here. Sitting at a table in Lima Bean, Ohio, USA. Exactly where he was. And Sebastian would not lose you again, ever.
His quick steps toward her stopped abruptly when Sam Evans, a blond trout from the New-Directions, Sebastian could add, sat down beside you and handed you a cup of coffee, receiving a quick kiss from you.
Sebastian’s feelings were completely mixed. For one side, he was angry as hell. What the fuck? She was his girl. His. No one, again, no one could have her other than Sebastian, she was his. But on the other side, he was feeling devastated. Were you in love with this shoddy trout? Had you forgotten him?
The Warbler looked at you, letting out a sigh. People did not always say that stupid phrase, “If you love, let go” ? Maybe that’s what he should do for you. He still loved you and wanted you to be happy and…
He shook his head from side to side; Fuck it. Fuck the New Directions pet trout. Of course you loved Sebastian, you were his girl. A year would not change that, for sure.
And Sebastian would take what was his back.
His confident, and, even a little convinced, posture and his usual cocky smile returned. Then Smythe took a pen and wrote his new number on the cup, holding where the number was. He walked toward your table and sat down, not even asking.
If that were possible, he would have lost his breath when he saw you closer. God, you looked even more beautiful than last time.
Sebastian almost growled when saw Sam touching your hand on the table, but he just smirked, catching your surprised expression and Sam’s confused expression. Or was he just trying to breathe oxygen and needed to get back into the water? Hard to say with that mouth. He left his thoughts and began to speak.
“What did you get for her?” Sebastian smiled wryly, asking Sam but keeping his eyes on you.
“Hm… A double black?” Sam asked more than confirmed, confused by the Warbler’s question. Sebastian laughed cynically and picked up your coffee, placing his in front of you.
“Café au lait, no sweetener and with a little bit of Vodka. Votre favori, mon amour.” He smiled, as if talking to you after all this time had not been affecting him. But fuck, all he wanted was to kiss you right there in front of everyone.
You coughed, falling into reality again. You didn’t know Sebastian would be here. You thought you were finally ready to forget him. Because, come on, a year! You made out with other boys, just like you were sure he had with other boys and girls, but you didn’t get into a relationship, you just couldn’t. But when you met Sam, it was a bit easy to get a crush on him. You were together for a week or two now. He was really sweet.
But seeing Sebastian again made all the old feelings, which had never really left, came back, and through his eyes you could almost say the same about him.
“Thank you.” You said, kind of insecure about what talk. For a moment, both of you were lost in each other’s eyes, involuntary smiles on your faces. God, it had been so long. And those lips, if…
‘’Okay, it’s weird. What’s going on here?’’ Sam asked, who was still completely confused.
“I didn’t know that trouts could speak English.” Sebastian said ironic as he looked at Sam, angry that he was even stepping into Lima Bean.
‘’Sam, it’s Sebastian. Sebastian, it’s…’’
‘’I know him, mon bébé. The New Directions pet trout. Your public school couldn’t pay an aquarium for you?“
‘’Seb!‘’ His nickname slipped easily through your tongue, catching him off guard. No one called him that, but you.
‘’It’s have been a year since someone called me that.’’ He glared you, and your heart pounded a little faster in your chest. But you could not do that to Sam, he was good. Like, really good. You could not be such a bitch.
’'We have to go, we have glee club rehearsal.” You looked down, more telling Sam than Sebastian. Your ex-boyfriend grimaced at that, but quickly argued his eyebrows.
‘’Really? New Directions? Don’t we both know that you’re better than all these Losers, hottie?’’ Sebastian smirked.
“They’re my friends, Sebastian. They’re not Losers.” You rolled your eyes. “Thank you for the coffee.”
‘’Anything you need, mon bébé.’’ He winked at you, smiling malicious. You got the coffee and got up with Sam. You two leaving as you let out the breath you did not even know you were holding.
Sure enough, things got a bit complicated from now on.
Danny Phantom AU where there’s a huge ghost battle and Danny Fenton gets caught in the middle and somehow, everyone discovers that he’s a ghost…. hunter. Yeah, Danny is obviously alive and, unless there’s concrete evidence, no one’s gonna believe he’s a ghost. But they see his moves, his confidence with the ghosts, mistake his ectoblasts for a ghost weapon and people form their own conclusions: Danny and his friends are human ghost hunters. Danny isn’t sure whether to laugh or start sobbing. Tucker doesn’t have the same problem, he’s rolling on the floor.
His parents are mad for all of 5 minutes before they’ve got Danny in their arms saying how proud they are and how foolish it was for him to be going out there alone. Danny listens to their praise and love and hugs them back, burying his face in his dad’s shoulder to hide the guilt. Lancer is more upset because he sees it as a needless danger but he understands that the kids aren’t going to stop and Amity isn’t like other towns and decides to give the kids a bit of a break when it comes to balancing school and ghosts. The other kids are kind of awestruck. Ghosts used to be lame, but now that they’re a serious problem, it’s suddenly cool. The fact that their nerdy classmate apparently has been fighting them in secret, and winning, is wicked. Valerie is incredibly suspicious. Her secret gets outed too and she’s kind of lumped with the trio but she knows something is wrong but she can’t figure it out. But she will.
Danny is mostly very confused about the whole thing, extra paranoid about people discovering his secret and more than weirded out by all the attention. His parents and teachers stop giving him so much grief and, with extra accommodations, he actually does better in school and gets more sleep. He takes to carrying ghost hunting equipment on him at all times, it was awkward at first but his accuracy with ectoblasts eventually makes him skilled with Fenton weapons. The trio no longer have to hide when there’s a ghost attack and will openly fight the ghost. The ghosts themselves are also hella confused, Danny just shrugs as he fights like a human. If it’s too powerful and Danny needs his powers, he’ll run off claiming he left “something in his locker” and oh hey look Phantom showed up to save the day. It seems rather obvious but still, everyone sees what they want to see.
Eventually Danny manages to convince people that Phantom actually is a good ghost who only wants to help. He claims that he and his friends routinely fight with Phantom to save the day. It’s enough to make Jack and Maddie willing to sit down and have a civil conversation with the ghostly hero which eventually leads to a partnership with the city’s ghost hunters. Danny works hard to avoid times where he and Phantom are needed in the same place, sometimes he’ll have Sam double as him but he’s also working harder on duplication. All in all it’s a weird, ironic existence but it works out in a roundabout way. Danny still feels horribly guilty about keeping the full truth from his folks but thinks he’s in too deep to back out now. So Danny is often seen on patrol with his parents, an ectogun strapped to his back. They don’t understand why he so often looks up at the sky, as if he wished he were up there and not on the ground.

“At first I wasn’t sure, it was just a quiet murmuring. You know like being next to a beehive, like, that steady hum. And then things
started to break through the hum, and that’s when they started talking to me.”
Characters: Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, Reader
“I’m not going.” You said stubbornly. "I don’t care how many times I get possessed. I’m not doing it. You can’t make me.”
Life as a hunter was not without its share of injuries. You had been slashed, cut, burned, and hit so many times you had lost count. You cleaned up and moved on. That’s what hunters did.
But a bad experience with a tetanus shot as a kid had left you with a deathly fear of needles. It was ridiculous really. Sam and Dean had stitched you up many times, and you barely flinched. But get a flu shot? No freaking way!
You had been hunting with the Winchesters for about a year now, and sleeping with Sam for about half of that. They both knew you didn’t like shots, but they had no idea how phobic you were until a hunt went wrong and you were possessed. Then your dirty little secret was exposed.
Now I need a fic where Sam, Eileen, Cas, and Dean all go out to dinner to drinking. Sam and Eileen are 100% on a date (but they don’t tell Dean because he wouldn’t go if he thought it was a date - after all Cas is his buddy, not someone to date). But Cas thinks its a double date because Sam and Eileen are totally gross and can’t keep the heart eyes to minimum. Hi-jinks ensue…
