Hi💕💕💕💕 I just started with my Bullet journal, any ideas of what spreads i can do? Other than the normal monthly and weekly logs

Ok I’m really sorry this was supposed to just be a simple list of some pages for a bullet journal and it turned into this

Bujo basics (see more bujo masterposts at the bottom):

Here’s some basic bujo advice that I can’t back up because I’ve never had one:

  1. use pencil first if you’re trying our a new format (and just in general because you never know when you’ll make mistakes).
  2. stick to a limited color palette (preferably lighter colors) if your worried about how it will look.
  3. be realistic about how much you can do; if you’re not a good artist, don’t make the focus point of your spread a huge elaborate drawing.
  4. don’t beat yourself up over mistakes you make. only you have to see your bujo so it’s really not the end of the world if you mess up a bit.

Notebooks:

Just a tip: there are 4 main kinds of notebooks - lined, dotted, gridded, and blank. I only linked dotted notebooks above, but those brands also made other notebooks so they shouldn’t be too hard to find.

  1. lined notebooks are good for when your bujo is writing-heavy (so if it’s also functioning as a journal).
  2. dotted notebooks are probably what you see most often because they’re so versatile. they’re great for both writing and more doodle heavy bujos (but if you have trouble writing in a straight line they probably aren’t for you).
  3. gridded notebooks are great if your a perfectionist because they make it super easy to draw straight lines.
  4. blank notebooks are what you want to use if your bujo will be very art focused.

Pens:

these are just some pens that are popular in the studyblr community, but you can literally use any pen (or pencil) that you want. any pens that you already have in you house are fine, so please don’t go out and buy any of these just for your bujo!

EXTRA: you can check my supplies tag and there should be some swatches like this

More supplies:

here are some stationary websites & brands!

Brands:

if you don’t want to go through all those  links, here are the most popular places to get stationary!

Spreads:

you’ll generally have four types of spreads: daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. people have a combination of the for (daily and monthly; weekly and monthly; weekly, monthly, and yearly).

  • EXTRA: some resolutions that you can track in your daily log

Page ideas (what the ask was really about):

the above is where bullet journals get even more customizable. you can add whatever pages you want to your bujo, usually in front or behind your weekly spreads.

some specifics about what you can add to your bujo if you want it to look great

19 June 2017 // someone stole my pencil case on the very last day of school and I was so upset that I bought some stuff from the london muji to make me feel better T-T

stationery I bought:
- pack of six black 0.5 gel ink pens
- erasable gel ink pens (black and red)
- large black eraser
- 0.38 black gel ink pen
- A4 dotted grid white spiral notebook

Today’s prompt coincided perfectly with my counseling homework, writing down moments when I feel happy. Day 23 of the February challenge by @journaling-junkie

july 26 2017. i haven’t posted in so long oops! i’m always busy during the day, which means i don’t have good lighting for my posts when i get home in the evening 😒 this weekly spread was inspired by this post, i’ve been wanting to make one like it for so long! it’s so gorgeous to me ah!

but anyway, hope you’re all having a great week so far 😇

Daiso haul! Needed a couple things and ended up getting a little more than planned woops

My favorite is this pocket sized dotted notebook! (not gonna lie – I bought 2 packs lol) I like the cover that says “meow” but the other design says “Why don’t we just relax? Days with cats” soooo I covered it up with this totoro sticky and I’m going to use this one for washi swatches ^^ I absolutely love pocket notebooks and I also love dot grid paper so this was such an awesome find for me!

I hope everyone is having a great day ^^

Today’s prompt had me questioning if I am as kind a person as I want to be, I don’t think I’m there just yet. Day 2 of the August Challenge by @journaling-junkie

hellooo

i’m now using my new bujo (dotted a5 notebook from muji) in which i designed the cover that reflects me as a flower that is still blooming, still learning & prioritizing what i truly need, but always remembering where i have come from. (got the idea from the little prince) + the design was inspired by @bonjournal_ on ig 🌙

on my last picture, i decided to add a message for myself on the side to always read on whenever i doubt my capabilities & lose hope. truly, this message does help me go on, you should try it too 🌝

that’s all for now, kisses to u lot 💋

4/8/17 - new bullet journal 💫📚
So I went to muji yesterday and picked up quite a lot including this A5 dot grid notebook (it’s the one with the pocket on the front) and I decided to give billet journaling another go.
My plan is to document nice days that I want to remember I.e the first photo is a spread of the things I purchased whilst out shopping yesterday, and to plan out my life (the way you would use a bujo). The leaf themed august weekend spread was heavily influenced by @gloomstudy post here

The weekend and week spreads are not fully finished as I hadn’t planned for Sunday when I took the photos and it’s not Monday the 7th yet so I can’t properly plan as I don’t know what my plans are lol.

I’m super excited to post more spreads and I have a good feeling that I’ll be able to keep this up as the spreads are quite simple and I can just decorate them when I have the time to. 💫

(Pls excuse the mismatched theme of the shopping spread-I didn’t have washi tape that truly matched and I couldn’t find my pink post it’s but I quite like the mismatch effect).
