Edge’s eyes suddenly lit up as he finally understood exactly what Cupcake was requesting of him. Smirking playfully, Edge popped open the lid and pulled out a single chocolate. He then said, “Heh, well… I dunno, do you really want this?”
Cupcake nodded vigorously. “P-please, I want it so badly,” he whimpered.
I'm very ready to see TTYD at AGDQ and introduce more people as to why Flavio is actually the best character
Flavio tagging along is actually a donation incentive this year, so I dunno if the route is different than it used to be (probably, because Palace Skip)—but it seems like Flavio’s not guaranteed to tag along.
So like, if you or anyone else has money and wants to donate to GDQ (and, help prevent cancer) consider putting it towards the “Let Flavio Tag Along” donation incentive, otherwise he’s staying behind!
((when you donate there’s a dropdown menu on the right hand side under bidding challenges / choices and “let flavio tag alone” is SOMEWHERE in that list. I think it’s organized by when the run’s supposed to happen, so check out the schedule too i guess.))
also in my micro class today we talked about the benefits of opening a market for kidneys so long as its well-regulated and shit and im mad at how inadequate my answer was when the professor asked the students in the room who didnt think it was a good idea despite the ~welfare economics~ justification about their reasoning. like he entertained ppls ideas (there were many) but flat out said theres no ‘economic reason’ to oppose it and chalked up everyones opposition to either moralism or irrational disgust. ppl suggested a possible ‘elitism’ of lower-income people becoming the main sellers but there was no serious estimation of what, materially, that entailed (hello pricing of risks?? i mean i or someone else shouldve thought of that not to mention macroeconomic implications of an income bracket suddenly taking a significant number of new health risks. we are gonna cover asymmetry later on so ill be damned if i dont ask to revisit this problem then) & i wasted my mental energy on a toothless response about raising incentives to donate before that topic 'elitism’ came up. it sucks that were meant to box things into microeconomics as if the macroeconomy has no bearing on what happens in individual industries, thats probably the main thing that held up my thought process. im putting it out of my mind for now but i wish i was better at this
So imagine a strictly come dancing/ dancing with the stars au where for a charity special, they get superheroes to dance and as an extra incentive to donate, they get to choose the couples, each couple being trained together to perform a dance. Now, just imagine the Flash and Captain Cold were chosen to dance together, doing the tango. Imagine the intensity, the passion.
Hey there! As some of you may know, the store I’ve been working at for almost 7 years now… has closed. The good news is, I’ve already secured a better job, and while I’m looking forward to starting my new job at the end of the month- I’m currently out of work, and I’ve got bills to pay.
I scoured some old hard drives, and went through my archives here on Tumblr and Twitter to pull together a big ol’ whopping .RAR file of pretty much everything I’ve posted to the internet over the past decade. Silent Hill Golf / Steven Universe / Hi-Res pages from my Fantasy Comic / ‘Looks Like Rain’ strips post-2010 / and a bunch more! There are a couple things exclusive to this bundle, as well.
To be fair… the majority of these pictures can be found online for free, but I thought it would be interesting to pull them all together and offer them up as a donation incentive, instead of just shaking a coffee can at you. Against my better judgement, I’ve even included some terrible stuff from 2005 that I would rather forget about. With great humility, I leave this bundle at your feet.
Just donate whatever you want ($1.00 minimum!) to firstname.lastname@example.org via Paypal, and I’ll send you an email containing a download link. I’ll be sending the link to the email provided in your Paypal account, so make sure it’s updated. This is my first time doing anything like this, so please forgive any hiccups in the process.
Thanks for your time, and thanks for all the support over the years.
Edit: Also- if anyone knows a good automated way to do this, that info would be super helpful. Most storefront services online deal with .pdf files, but I couldn’t find anything for .rar stuff.
I’m willing to do this manually, but not looking forward to it.
For the month of November, my good friend Mathew has given us an extra special treat! Two Scootaloos, beautifully rendered with a lovely background, ready for you!
Due to this amazing picture, this month’s donation wallpaper is $5.
Last month we fell short of our goal by about $110, but I have a feeling this month will be better! And since Paypal primarily requires a credit-card to donate, I will be using that as your proof of being over the age of 18.
You can still purchase the other two donation pictures as well, for $1 dollar each or $2 for both. If you want all 3, it’s $7.
So… I hit a bout of bad luck recently, and while I have… almost enough for my room for BronyCon, I really don’t have any money for amendities, like food and stuff. D: So… I’m putting up August’s donation pic up a little earlier. This one, as you can see, is a 1920 x 1080 Wallpaper spoofing Grand Theft Auto! (And no, I did not upload the full size pic to Tumblr. That is stupid.)
If you want this bad boy, donate $5 to my Paypal. Patrons on Patreon will be getting it too, but… I’m really in a bind right now. :\ Any money will be going to feeding me during BronyCon and getting the rest of my share of the hotel room paid off. XD
Oh, if you’re wondering why Evil Twi from The Death of Rainbow Flash is there… because that’s usually where the antagonist goes.
