i still cant believe the boat scene in wonder woman was improvised… like that was some of the funniest stuff in the movie!! and like!! diana talking about the ‘physical pleasures of the flesh’… you’re telling me that was improvised. there were twelve (12) volumes about it?! that led to the conclusion men are unnecessary for pleasure… that was improvised!? thank you gal.

It’s interesting because Star Wars continues to evolve and George when watching that scene, he really liked it, but then he went “Uhhh, we have to take that scene out.” “Why, George?” “Because the Sith can’t become ghosts. That’s not what they do. They’re so concerned with their corporeal existence, and wealth, and power that they can’t think beyond that. They don’t think about the afterlife. That’s why they’re all afraid to die. That’s why they’re always trying to figure out how to cheat death.” […] So that scene was cut. But that’s the cool thing about The Clone Wars. It’s the last George Lucas produced Star Wars. And there’s so much you can learn about that mythology by watching that show very carefully.

Kurt, what if it’s only a matter of time before I become like that?

Fall For You (M) | 02

Summary: You hate a lot of things about Jeon Jungkook; you hate his arrogance, his reputation, and his pet name for you to name a few. But most of all, you hate how right it feels for you to fall into his arms, and how easy it is to fall for him.

Part 01. Part 03 + Drabbles

It wasn’t over.

After your night with Jungkook he was on your mind more than ever. You didn’t go to any parties in the following days, but you couldn’t help but think of him during the evening, of if he was drinking to get drunk or to maintain appearances as he brought another girl to his bed. The idea of him, wrapped around a random girl, his tongue shoved down her throat, didn’t bother you.

No, what angered you was how he continued to consume your thoughts, even though you hated him more than you’d ever hated anyone else.

It wasn’t fair.

Reader problems
  • Me analyzing a school book: the mood is sad and there's like some character development I guess in this chapter like line 81
  • Me talking about a book I read for pleasure: OMG OK SO LIKE THIS CHARACTER IS MY CHILD THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS THIS BOOK IS AMAZING THIS SCENE IS SO PIVOTAL IN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IT LITERALLY SETS UP THE EXPOSITION AND FORESHADOWS THIS BUT YOU DON'T SEE IT COMING RIGHT OMG I KNOW AND THEN THIS SCENE IS AN ALLUSION TO THAT AND THERE ARE SO MANY METAPHORS COMPARING THIS TO THAT SO I GUESS you could say this book is written in reference to oppression faced by humans by their own government

lovelyshyness  asked:

Hello! I adore your books, Clockwork Angel is what got me into reading, and it remains my favorite. I have a question about Lady Midnight, the scene with Magnus at Malcolm's house, and he is talking about another wedding, but Emma and Julian dont remember another. Is he referring to the one we know happened between Jem and Tessa? And Why don't they remember it? This has been nagging me for a while, will we learn why they don't remember? Thank you so much in advance!

Yes, he is referring to Jem and Tessa’s wedding, and we don’t yet know why no one remembers it happening. Except Magnus presumably (and Jem and Tessa!)

  • television shows: i mean, who needs lighting?? let's just not use any lighting. forget the lighting. oh, but add a whole ton of contrast!! yeah, do that. can't forget about those blurry flashbacks!! oh, and let's make things really grainy!! love that, too. and why don't we put the credits over really awesome scenes?? yeah, that's great.

Abby tells Clarke there are good guys and that she’s one of them and she bows her head, accepts it….then looks to Bellamy.

There is no other reason for Bellamy to be hanging out on the side of that scene unless it’s something Clarke and Bellamy are gonna talk about. She thinks he doesn’t count her as one of the good guys anymore. She’s worried about their relationship. She’s thinking about how she doesn’t deserve him, ‘cause he’s one of the good guys.

They have to discuss this, they have to hash out everything and it will bring out everything and we’re all gonna die.

  • Peter: Mr. Stark?
  • Tony: What?
  • Peter: Where's my super suit?
  • Tony: What?
  • Peter: Where - is - my - super - suit?
  • Tony: I, uh, put it away.
  • [helicopter explodes outside]
  • Peter: *Where*?
  • Tony: *Why* do you *need* to know?
  • Peter: I need it!
  • [Peter rummages through stuff]
  • Tony: Uh-uh! Don't you think about running off doing no daring-do. You've been revising for this test for two months!
  • Peter: The public is in danger!
  • Tony: Your grades are in danger!
  • Peter: You tell me where my suit is, sir! We are talking about the greater good!
  • Tony: 'Greater good?' I am your fath- boss! I'm the greatest *good* you are ever gonna get!
I’m sorry but was I the only one who thought “so Aria IS mentally ill” while she was talking to the corpse in the trunk.....?

when all you wanted was two characters to talk and be friends, but the show won’t let them even interact anymore because it might be too gay

ok so i binged the show recently but for the life of me i can't remember if flint and max ever shared a scene?? bc i don't think i'd forget something so EPIC

THEY HAVE TWO (2) SCENES TOGETHER IN WHICH THEY DO NOT TALK AT ALL

the first is in 1x02 when flint, billy, and gates are in the room while eleanor is trying to get max to tell her where the page is

the second is in 4x06 after jack has brought max aboard, and after they’ve all found out about eleanor’s death

they were also in the same vicinity during 4x04, when they return max (who was being held by billy) to eleanor. we didn’t get a scene in the actual ep, but we did get A MAJESTIC PHOTO. oh and earlier that episode flint speaks the beautiful line, “I don’t think we have Max. Do we have Max?” [clenching fist] HE SAID HER NAME!!!

I can’t beliiiiiiiieve they didn’t have a single conversation in the entire series, but perhaps it’s for the best, because I would’ve died on the spot :’’)
