InuKik!daughter OC anon again! I totally see what you mean, I'm also a stickler for canon and plan not to mess with canon too much, my OC is not meant to be used to ship InuKik together (I'm an InuKag shipper and besides my OC would hate Kikyo at first cause she thought she abandoned her just due to being a half-breed) I just thought it would be cute for this little girl to meet the Inu gang and travel with them and learn to open up and bring Inuyasha and Kagome closer together as a family.
cont. // I’m also a sucker for family feels and would love the opportunity of Kagome bonding with this little girl who’s Inuyasha’s daughter (and her past self) and learning to be a mother and just the three of them becoming a family and healing from the past, I also figured an OC like that wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility and mess with canon too much since the audience never knew just how serious the InuKik relationship got. As for the age thing, well the 3rd movie happened, Inuyasha IS 200.
As much as I appreciate the fact that you took the time to send these messages, I’m gonna have to disagree with you on a few things, nonnie. Again, I don’t want to come off as rude or mean but I, admittedly, am not all that crazy about the concept.
I don’t think that using InuKik and the tragedy surrounding it as a way to further the InuKag relationship is very cool. And I think having an InuKik child who hates their mother but is A-Okay with their father’s other love interest is not very cool either. In addition to that, I highly doubt Inuyasha would allow a child to follow the gang around (nor do I think he would be having sex but I’ll get to that in a bit). He doesn’t even really want Shippo around for a while, tbh. While Shippo is there partly because Kagome thought it would be nice to take him in after his dad died, he’s also a full blooded demon and can defend himself when the going gets rough. Inuyasha doesn’t really have to worry about keeping him out of harm’s way. With Inuyasha being the way that he is (almost painfully overprotective of people who are weaker than he is), he would not even risk putting a defenseless child (much less any defenseless child of his) in harm’s way. Especially not with Naraku around. If anything, the kid would be left with Kaede while they hunt for Naraku and the Sacred Jewel.
Next off, I don’t think Inuyasha was anywhere near having sex before the series ended. This is a guy who blushes when Miroku starts talking about how pretty the fairer sex is. To add on to that point, Kikyo is a priestess. I’m pretty sure that priestesses of that time (and maybe even in modern Japan, I’m not quite sure) are kinda like nuns. As in, they must remain pure. Kikyo was an unmarried woman who, frankly, had bigger things to worry about than getting laid. She told Inuyasha they could live together (with all that entails, I suppose) after they used the Sacred Jewel to turn him into a human. And, with the Sacred Jewel gone at that point, she would become a normal woman and be able to do whatever the heck she wanted. She could ditch the priestess robes and never use her powers again (which is p much the reason why she became a priestess in the first place) and live in domestic bliss with her love.
Getting back to the point, priestesses are supposed to be pure of mind, body, and spirit. And, while I’m sure that Inuyasha and Kikyo would have had nothing but good and pure intent if they did have sex, it’s not a pure act (religiously speaking) and priestesses are supposed to abstain from worldly things (sex included) in order to remain #Pure. As a friend of mine put it, and I quote:
“in Japan it’s like, a really big thing for a girl to stay a virgin too like I don’t understand why people think kikyo would be some kind of sex goddess or SEXUAL at all with Inuyasha when her entire life is spent in a nun-like state.”
With all that said, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Inuyasha and Kikyo didn’t really get far in their physical relationship with each other.
I would suggest trying another kind of oc! I am fond of a wandering half-demon the gang happens to encounter on their journey, because it’s believable and doesn’t really mess with canon in any way. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best!
I don't mean to be a negative nancy here but I think Stan's just going to make a complete mong of himself with that gun. It's great that he's risen to the occasion, but let's face it, Stan's a hippie through and through. Unlike Cartman and the rest, he detests guns and just won't be able to bring himself to shoot someone, anyone. Worse, I think Trent knows this and will be counting on it.
It’s okay, dude, I think you’re justified in your opinion. Stan’s now held a gun to something and someone a few times, but he’s never been able to go as far as pulling the trigger. He’s just, as you said, too much of a hippie - that is one way to put it. So, I agree, I don’t know if I can see Stan actually shooting Trent. But, hey, maybe he’s been pushed far enough that he’ll do it. Or maybe he’s grown since the days where he’d just bluff with a gun and now he’ll actually do it. But I think I may actually prefer it if Stan didn’t shoot - even though I want to see him be a badass and save his friends - just because that’d be so Stan to not do it. I respect that kind of correct characterisation. And I’m already just proud of Stan for at least trying to stand up to Trent and protect his friends. I just want him to be safe now, to be honest, more than valiant. Damn it, Yummy, stop putting my boys in danger! You’re doing bad things to my health and happiness!
