dome over manhattan

Imagine a giant glass dome encasing midtown Manhattan, or a self-contained “city of the future” on Ellis Island. In Never Built New York, the Queens Museum invites you to explore the New York City that could have been.

The exhibition will bring to life two hundred years of unrealized urban design projects from the likes of Buckminster Fuller, I.M. Pei, Frank Lloyd Wright, Frank Gehry — whose vision for the Guggenheim Museum is seen above — and more.

Support the project to step into an alternate reality of NYC here.
