1) My family doesn’t know I live here.
2) I can scream about fictional should-be gay couples in peace.
3) I can be a fuck up with the confidence that none of you will ever actually see me in the real world.
4) My Fandoms live on here
5)it’s like Facebook and Twitter had a baby but then the baby signed up for Tumblr and never leaves it’s room.
6) I can sit on here for hours and look up and a whole day has gone by its like time travel.
8) Fan art.
9) I can just put random stuff right here because I ran out of stuff I like at 8 but that’s all I need so it’s ok.
10) I just really wanted this list to go to ten for some weird reason so here we are.
Summary: The Doctor and Rose stop at a Valorian marketplace to do a little shopping. It’s not quite what Rose is expecting.
Notes: This fic is my first entry for @legendslikestardust Fluffuary bingo using the ‘candles’ prompt. It’s a little silly, very fluffy and different from my usual full length fics in that there’s no emotional angst or upheaval. As always, doing something different is a bit daunting, so here’s hoping it turned out OK! I was feeling quite silly when I wrote this, so hopefully it’s not TOO silly and you won’t hate it.
I know you’re afraid, but being afraid is all right. Because didn’t anybody ever tell you? Fear is a superpower. Fear can make you faster and cleverer and stronger. And one day, you’re going to come back to this barn. And on that day you’re going to be very afraid indeed. But that’s okay. Because if you’re very wise and very strong, fear doesn’t have to make you cruel or cowardly. Fear can make you kind.
↳ 1/? - Clara Oswald“Listen. This is just a dream. But very clever people can hear dreams. So please, just listen. I know you’re afraid. But being afraid is all right. Because didn’t anybody ever tell you? Fear is a super power. Fear can make you faster, and cleverer, and stronger. And one day, you’re going to come back to this barn, and on that day, you’re going to be very afraid indeed. But that’s okay. Because if you’re very wise and very strong, fear doesn’t have to make you cruel or cowardly. Fear can make you kind. It doesn’t matter if there’s nothing under the bed, or in the dark, so long as you know it’s okay to be afraid of it. So listen. If you listen to nothing else, listen to this. You’re always going to be afraid, even if you learn to hide it. Fear is like…a companion. A constant companion, always there. But that’s okay, because fear can bring us together. Fear can bring you home. I’m going to leave you something, just so you’ll always remember - fear makes companions of us all.”
