Anneke Wills (Doctor Who’s Polly) recently returned to Nanjizal Bay
(i.e. the filming location of the lost Doctor Who serial The Smugglers). Her visit coincided with the 50th anniversary of the first airing of The Smugglers.
Doctor Who Experience is celebrating Easter by relaunching the ‘Official Doctor Who Filming Locations Tour’.
The walking tour of Cardiff Bay will take fans to more than 40 locations used for filming episodes of Doctor Who, showing places that have been used over the last 10 years.
The 75-minute tour will run over Easter weekend (3rd April to 6th April) and continue on the 9th, 10th and 11th April. They will then run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17th April to 27th June.
Easter also sees the DWE welcome new costumes and props, including costumes worn by Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald in ‘Kill the Moon’, ‘Mummy on the Orient Express’ and ‘Flatline’.
Some beautiful HQ photos of Peter on the Doctor Who film set, taken by Valentina Comini (Flickr). Location is at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I just selected a few to share, two of which look like they belong together. Please check out her Flickr for more, and don’t forget to credit!
