The One Man Electro Pop Powerhouse: Robert Delong

Multi-instrumentalist and master of video game controllers Robert Delong brings his technologically fueled one-man sonic army to Echoplex each Monday this October for a FREE residency.  Delong’s reputation for an energetic, organic and fluid live electronic experience that effortlessly blends the sounds and interfaces of the future with classic songwriting structure and melodies is more than warranted.  CMJ described him as “an 8-bit warrior, seamlessly creating danceable electro beats with his Wii Remote and Sega Genesis controller on par with the Chemical Brothers.”  Close your eyes at a Robert Delong performance and you might actually believe it’s a full blown Cut Copy esque outfit on stage – but, a las, it is just one extremely talented and musically passionate young man.

Coming off a year that saw multiple festival performances, supporting slots with acts ranging from Fitz & The Tantrums to Porter Robinson and STRFKR, addition to rotation on heavy hitting radio stations like KROQ, KCRW and WEQX and the inking of a deal with Glassnote – the time is now to see (and hear) Robert Delong.

Playing a month long residency with varying supporting bands each week! It’s free with RSVP at here.

The stairs will be open to allow access for everyone to enjoy both stages of music with Superhumanoids residency at The Echo!
