do you think that doing alcohol is cool

Humans are Weird: Spices

Alien: Today in my “Human Studies” book, I’m reading about human foods.

Human: Ooh, cool.

Alien: But I’m not sure this is accurate. It says here that humans purposely ingest a plant high in a pain-causing chemical, capsaicin.

Human: Oh, peppers? Yeah. Spicy.

Alien: But why would you want to eat something that causes you pain?

Human: Some people like the burn. I think it causes the same sort of reaction as drinking alcohol…?

Alien: That activity doesn’t make sense to me either. Can we discuss it after?

Human: Sure.

Alien: So, these “peppers.” Do you enjoy eating them?

Human: Me? Well, not by themselves. But I do like somewhat spicy foods. My brother, though, he likes them much hotter. He’s eaten some really spicy peppers, even ate a ghost pepper by itself.

Alien: Ghost pepper.

Human: Yeah, it’s the spiciest natural pepper. His face got pretty red, and he got the hiccups.

Alien: That… doesn’t sound like a healthy reaction.

Human: It just means that it’s a really spicy pepper. I mean, if I ate one of those, it might kill me, but he was fine.

Alien. Why would it kill you?

Human: Too spicy. You have to have a tolerance for capsaicin or it can literally kill you. And the ghost pepper is so hot that to handle it, you gotta wear gloves.

Alien: Your planet has plants that can KILL people, and which you can’t handle directly, and your brother ATE ONE, by ITSELF??

Human: Yeah.

Alien: …

Human: He says that when he gets desensitized to ghost pepper, he wants a Carolina Reaper.

Alien: I’m almost afraid to ask.

Human: …

Alien: What’s a Carolina Reaper?

Human: A pepper scientifically engineered for spiciness. It’s currently the world’s hottest pepper.

Alien: *stares at human in disbelief*

Alien: *stares at human studies book*

Alien: *stares at human again*

Alien: *whispers to self* How… how are humans real?

Let’s talk about something important… Alcohol!  More accurately, magical microbreweries! If you think wizard candy can do some cool things, let me introduce you to the wondrous world of magical hipsters making some microbrews that will knock your socks off.

I’m not kidding, there is literally a wizard in California who brews an IPA that magically causes any socks you happen to be wearing to fly off of your feet and shoot into the sky like firecrackers.

If there is a market for it, somebody will be selling it. Personally, I’m fond of the company in Florida that pumps out a fantastic shandy that incorporates a hint of strawberry with the ability to blow bubbles out of your nose. Great party trick.

I don't understand why 15,16, and 17 year olds are drinking it's not cool. It's trashy and you guys are ruining your life's. Same with having sex AT A YOUNG AGE fucking dumb ass people

i respect that u have ur own opinion, i really understand where ur coming from!! however, i do believe that people have the right to decide what they do. also ofc dont take this as me promoting alcohol or anything and like ofc it can really harm ur body, esp if ur young and wanna drink a lot. also when it comes to sex n all that, i honestly think it depends a lot on the maturity level of people (also w/ drinking actually) bc i have a friend who is 2 yrs younger than me and she is honestly so much more mature than more than half the people in my grade.

again, i am of course not promoting or telling people that they should go out and drink but i really think that its more so up to them, and if they do drink they should be aware of the effects in can have on a person

Are we talking just TF2 ships or rare ships in general? Cuz for tf2 I love engineer x demoman since they're explosion buddies who love their craft, family, and alcohol. I also ship Nick x Spy for angst reasons because old snarky men in suits who make bad decisions are my weakness.

I’m mainly thinking rare TF2 ships, but I’m cool with crossovers.

But we really do need more Engi x Demo they are so damn cute together plus with everything you said they seem like a power couple.

Hit me the fuck up with Nick x Spy, never thought about a ship like that. But you have got me thinking. All the shit those two would do. Going shopping together, picking out suits for each other. Both men knowing that there partner can take care of themselves, but every once and a while needing to be reassured of that point. The nights spent together, only in these moments the cocky attitude disappearing, where both men try their hardest to satisfy the other. At night Spy reaches out to see if Nick is still there, to make sure he isn’t alone.

Fuck you got me shipping this now.

Thank you.

  • dean: *waits for door to shut*
  • dean: alright claire your other dad is gone there are no rules in this house i'm not like angel dad okay i'm the cool human dad
  • claire: is that beer?
  • dean: oh god honey no what kind of human dad do you think i am?
  • dean: why do you want a little bit because if you drink i'd rather you do it in the house
  • Them: So what inspired you to play bass?
  • Me(Thinking to Myself): Don't tell them it was Murdoc. Don't even fucking mention the band name Gorillaz. Whatever you do do not tell them you got a bass for your 12th birthday solely because you just had to be exactly like that satanic alcoholic pickle-man. Never reveal your dark past. DON NOT SHOW THEM THE PICTURES OF YOURSELF WITH HIS HAIRCUT
  • Me: I just thought it was cool I guess :)
Dear Agents of Shield (fandom)

Hey guys! I understand that some of you may not love Lincoln as a character yet (I, however, do), and I understand a greater number of you may not like that he appears to have a romantic connection to Daisy – probably because you ship her with someone else. That’s cool! Shipping is a pretty subjective thing, I think, so you do you, but my advice would be to maybe not let that colour your opinion of a character who, I believe, is standing on his own two feet.

But could we not – I repeat NOT – refer to Lincoln’s character arc as “manpain” or “mangst?” I watched the episode and felt they pretty explicitly spelled out that he was an alcoholic, or struggling with a history of alcoholism, and Luke Mitchell has since confirmed that, so… maybe don’t belittle the representation of a character going through that? That’s a really shitty thing to do, and nobody who has ever experienced that, or had a loved one go through it, would ever refer to it as mangst. Seriously. Stop it. It ain’t cute.

Give the show a little more credit than that, and give Luke Mitchell way more credit for his portrayal.

That is all.
