I’m a photographer, I do photoshoots from time to time, and I don’t get a whole lot of notes from them haha The most I would ever get its probably 6 notes tops for a preview of a shoot I’ve done or a small portion of the set that would link to my facebook. But thats ok! I’m fine with that. I don’t post sexy stuff like most tumblr famous photographers because thats not my style. I mean really since when do I ever post up a set of photos of a very hot girl in lingerie? Never. Sometimes when i see those certain photographers I’m like…really? is that it? thats the best you can do. I’m not saying I’m better than them but I’m not saying I suck for not having a ton of notes and not being tumblr famous. I just post my own concepts and have fun with them.

My work isn’t sexy nor does it guarantee that you will become tumblr famous or gain any sort of fame; you’ll have something fun and different.

This is probably one of my favorite shots that I’ve done for this online magazine NewMediaRockstars, starring AJ Rafael

24/52 Summer Sessions

So recently I started my Internship for a group called “NewMediaRockstars” amazing bunch of people I’ve met, and I am pretty excited to keep on working for them and assist in shoots. Learning some more about lighting and tips and tricks to photoshop.

But enough of that, the last week has been pretty busy, been setting up shoots left and right and shooting with my friend “Paprika” who is from Texas. It was pretty fun, in this 52 week we had 3 photographers 1 model, 1 location, and it was pretty awesome to watch each other shoot and get into that moment, we all assisted each other, and I got some video footage! Though I need to finish putting them together and smooth it out before I can upload it to my channel…But yeah! awesome week, the following week is going to be better.

25/52 2nd session

Ever since I started my internship, I’ve been hanging out with my friend, lets call her “Paprika” she’s a good photographer, and I believe that she has room to grow. So the past week I’ve been teaching her lighting techniques, showing her locations and collaborating with her on some shoots with real models. One of them you saw from my other 52 was with Miss Huang.

This time I shot my old friend Miss Warren, who works for LA models, its been so many years since I last saw her and I remembered how back in high school I sucked so bad haha. Using a d40 just taking random pictures of people smiling, shooting for the yearbook. But now that I look back on it, I’ve started to acknowledge the improvements I’ve made to my own skill sets and myself as a person. Another change will come, and I look forward to embrace it.

1/52 Best Disguise Ever

“I mustache you a question”. Today I got one of the best gifts from a really close friend of mind, its just way too epic that I completely forgot my aviators in her restaurant and just took these out to drive home even though there wasn’t sun out.

But to start things off, the name is Daniel I’m a Brotographer in Socal, I shoot with a nikon and film with a canon.

9/52 Tilting the world

I saw this technique used by Romain Laurent, I thought it was a pretty cool technique, i spent days trying to figure out how it was done. A couple of Brotographers up north tried this technique, and when they saw how they did it, I wanted to do it right away, however I never had the time, nor had someone who was adventurous enough to try it. Just recently my friend Clarence hit me up asked if I was free, and it just so happens I was! After finishing up a presentation and a midterm I felt the need to channel my stress into my camera and plan out how this is going down. I’ll admit it was a little tricky, but it turned out to be pretty awesome.

Brotog Meet up 2012

21/52 Sessions with Miss Van

I had a great opportunity to shoot with Jess after shooting some tweets back and forth. One time during my finals week we settled on a day (Saturday) for a meet up and to do some shooting, it was pretty awesome, she was a pretty chill person, the shoot was alright, it would’ve gone better with the time and lighting situation but overall Im pretty stoked for another session with her, this time it’ll be alot smoother and I’ll have a small team for an epic shoot
