Pension and Saving - Boring and hard to sell without Clooney

DnB Nor, Norway’s largest financial service group, has made a brilliant commercial about the need to make savings. The film is funny and probably right on the spot regarding lots of womens’ hopes and dreams.

Whether the story or joke and George Clooney overshadows the company brand is hard to tell, however I strongly believe that the message get across to a target group that seldom gives saving and pension much thought.

The idea and execution is worth sharing and credits go to the Ad agency TRY:

The message is:

“Some people are lucky in life”

“For the rest of us, saving up can be smart”

“S for Savings Plan”

“DnB NOR - Bank from A to Z”

A brilliant ad by Norwegian Bank DnB NOR that points out to its customers that saving might be a very wise advice, for the unlucky people who don’t wake up with a hang over but end up being married to worlds most desirable man George Clooney.

George Clooney, we all know him from the Nespresso ads. Well, now he’s in a new one, this time for the Norwegian bank DnB NOR. In the ad some lucky woman awakes with no memory of what happened the night before. In the end she realizes some have luck in life.

The rest of us might want to save some, is what  the tagline makes us realize.
